Game REVIEWS
Again, a glitch where I can't see the "shadow/ghost" (I don't even know what was going on at first, suddenly the game ended). The mirror puzzle is easy to me, I figured it out immediately (key word: MIRROR), I just need a pen and paper because I'm not that good with math. I'm doomed because I haven't play Cube: Season first, so I had to peek at a walkthrough to get the code. For me, this was the easiest so far, I finished it in less than half an hour (albeit just the "dead" ending).
Very good game, only thing I had to use walkthrough for was to open one of the chest. Not obvious what to enter, even after seeing what should be entered. Can't find hoarder, only objective not completed. But very fun game and I will keep trying to finish objectives and find hoarder. Not even sure what I am looking for.
These games are so interesting especially if there's a story behind which makes it more impressive to play. The game's animation is so nice and the puzzles are very challenging for beginners. I really really like it, besides I already played five games from these series and I feel like I'm gonna marry it tomorrow haha
This is the second game that I have played and I got to say I absolutely loved it. I loved how you included clues from other games but I had some difficulties figuring it out due to not having played the other game before. But so far I'm absolutely loving the Cube Escape games so much.

Awesome to hear Elf Princess! It's also possible to download the Cube Escape Collection and we recommend to play our games in the following order: Seasons, The Lake, Arles, Harvey's Box, Case 23, The Mill, Hotel, Birthday, Theatre, Roots, The Cave, Paradise, Paradox, The White Door, Samsara Room.
Amazing. Just amazing, I do think it isn't the best idea, at least for me to include another game to find the code to the current game you are playing. I searched high and low and almost an hour to find the code of that 'Remember the Seasons' lock and even walked over my pride and got the walkthrough to find the answer. Only to find you need to play the Cube Escape: Seasons. However, I surely recoomend others to play it.
Dark/disturbing while requiring critical thinking/observation skills. It was so much damn FUN. My issue: To get to the other Cube escape stories/ games, you have to download a new app each time (8+ in total). It would be more convenient for each story/game to be a different level in one app.
I absolutely love these games. My mind just disappears into them. I often find myself whispering, "The lake needs memories..." As I pick up my phone to play. Great waste of time for anyone and much respect for the way it honors Twin Peaks without being tacky or played out while still maintaining a well thought out story. Bravo.
This seemed to be a bit of a disappointment. It was extremely short and felt more like a tutorial or something - I thought it was leading somewhere interesting and then it finished! The location is also quite dull compared to the first game. However, I enjoyed the bit with the tree growing and the ending was nicely creepy

Hi Peter, The Lake was one of our first games, that's why it lacks content. Feel free to play the rest of the Cube Escape series to extend your Rusty Lake experience :)
It's a short point and click adventure game with easy to understand mechanics. I had problems twice with crowbar parts, guess my fingers weren't pressing at the right place. Will give other games a try as well.
Great 2nd outing! This atmospheric escape room is immersive and fun with just enough mystery and intrigue yo keep you interested but not frustrated. This one is shorter than the first (Seasons) but overall their puzzles make sense, and controls are easy. There is one particular puzzle that references certain symbols near the end of the game, and in my opinion the clue requires a leap of logic to figure out how to interpret those symbols. Overall good game though. Gonna play the rest.

Thank you Rob, we appreciate your feedback! We hope you'll enjoy the other Rusty Lake episodes as well!
All of Rusty Lake's games are, frankly, amazing. The puzzles are fun and range from easy to difficult, with only two across the whole series that weren't very intuitive, that Incan recall. I've actually been working through all of them again to gain the best understanding of the story.
The game is just as mysterious as it is and sticks to its foundation.Seeing that it sticks to its base even though it's not something that I jump at,is something that is hard to pull.Even triple A titles struggle with that. But my only complaint are this game is awfully short compared to the first one(Seasons) and that mirrored number puzzle made no sense.jk, I don't mind it that much but the first complaint stands.Hopefully they dont continue this length. It was just a total of 5 mins.

Hello RetroBIT! Thanks for playing, the reason that The Lake is feeling short, is because it was one of our first games. Especially if you've played our later games, which have more content.
These games are my favorite genre. Besides the horror feel they also challange your brain. I already played three games from these series and I was never disappointed. Great animation, challenging puzzles/tasks but not impossible.

Hello Gabriel, thanks for your support!
I was confused... I picked up all the items and they just sat there in the column to the right, I could tap them but couldn't do anything with them (drag or otherwise). Upon watching the beginning of the walkthrough, I know now that I should be able to use the items I've picked up. I'm fairly certain it isn't my screen, this is a pretty new phone and I haven't had any issues with any other apps/games and their responsiveness to my taps. Will raise my rating if we can figure this out, thanks!
Decent, but nowhere near as good as the other ones. Very short and **spoilers** I don't like when you have to tap all over the place for "puzzles" like the crowbar. That doesn't require skill or intelligence. The mirror box was tough, but that's ok.
Really short, but fun and quirky. Not a bad second chapter, as it helps to accelerate the story without taking as long as Seasons. Interesting ending(s), and quite creepy, as usual.
Enjoyed this one. Much easier than the other Rusty Lake Cube Escape games, my only problem was that it only took me about 25 minutes compared to some 2.5 to 3 hours for the latest games (I played the 2 latest games but now I'm playing from the 1st Cube Escape. Hint: the mirror box is much easier than you think but you may need to use a calculator
Not as good as the first one in my opinion. Most puzzles were easy except the puzzle box "Mirror" no logic behind that one and had to look it up. Interesting to have two endings though. Not saying anything further of course, #Spoilers. Still going to play the series, kinda interested in the 'shady' character.
I absolutely loved this! So at the end I noticed that you can... change the ENDING? YES! there's extra play on the Games everyone! So you can go back after you've completed the game and start over a whole new way?. As in Seasons I kept wondering why the clock wasn't being used when the hands move? Very nice touch guys! I'm actually enjoying these games so much. FYI; I'm 57; fairly new to the Gaming world but I've played many different types of games, and Rusty Lake Cube and Room series is by far the BEST!
Played paradox and loved it. Started now playing back through the series. This one was short but challenging! The box had me stumped! Got it and now going to download the next in series! Thank you for a great puzzle game!
