Let's face it, kids aren't always thinking about sending a quick text to their parents to let them know they've arrived safely. And, while we have Find My iPhone as well, I find OrbitU to be far more precise. When riding the bus home from a school day, OrbitU always tells them how far they are from the school.

I recommend this program to every parent I know as a tool for everyone's protection, not as a technique to "stalk" your children. This software provided us with a sense of safety. Particularly in the event of an emergency. I'm grateful we've never had to use it in this situation, but it's provided us with a lot of peace of mind.

I use the app to monitor Grandparents, knowing that their tendency for ignoring calls and messages might be due to age, or because they're at home and in distress. A short evaluation for her whereabouts reveals why they're not replying and whether I should make a pit stop to see how they're doing.
