Please stop suggesting that people can turn off liquid mode (aka useless garbage I never asked for mode) by going into the settings and flipping a switch. That is not an actual option that does anything. Every time I open a new document, it still asks if I want to convert it to liquid mode. Please make it an option to permanently disable this mode, or better yet, get rid of liquid mode altogether.

Acrobat reader works neatly, providing text and images in easy to read format; with multiple options for pagination, auto scroll and zoom. The only caveat I have is the Microsoft Office and other print to PDF drivers don't account for the top and bottom margin and exclude text that lands in this area.

It is a wonderful app for me to review and mark up architectural drawings on my tablet ( Samsung S6 ) but, it took a heck of a while to learn how to use it!! Perhaps Acrobat should do some videos on YouTube on a dedicated channel to show older newbies like myself (64!) how to do basic stuff, so we can get on with the more salient tasks, in our various fields.

Unfortunately forced to uninstall due to the viewer Auto-rotation feature which is impossible to disable while doesn't allow a convenient and smooth operatio and reading/editing various documents. It is very strange and very rear to see a modern app these days that allows such an agrresive behavior (to MHO senseless) without an option for a user control and disable, what a shame.

Good to view. Bit it is anoying with this liquid mode that always pops on and does not give the option not to use (try oncr or always use. No option to never ask again). Also there are some payed offers (expected in free apps). It works, but it could be better without some anoying popups.

BE CAREFUL OF THAT FREE TRIAL PROMO. Once you pass the 7 day free trial, they will charge you the monthly fee of the program you got ($14.99). But if you want to cancel your subscription they will charge you $82.45 for an EARLY TERMINATION FEE. The fine print matters so if you haven't read it yet here you go. I can't even use this app on my old desktop. This subscription has me binded to Adobe longer than a damn pregnancy. Hate this app. Changed my plan but still hate how they trick people.
Hi there! If you signed up for a free trial, your payment method would be charged only at the end of the free trial unless you cancel before the free trial ends. If you've been charged before the trial ended, please reach out to us on our community ( We want to investigate and help to get this resolved. Thanks! 🙂^VB

It would be nice if the app could remember the last selected tab in the thumbnails/contents panel. I never use thumbnails for navigation, and it's an annoying extra click I have to make every time I want to access that tab.

It's an incomplete experience. I understand evolving security needs. However, for all the features, this app has, it lacks the ability to use links or to even toggle security settings to say I trust the source and doc integrity so I want to use links.
Hi there! Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We have made a note of the same and will work on it. 🙂 /Vaibhav

At least make it possible to use app once before signing up for trial. Make sure that It fits my purpose. So that its not called trial but money back. Lots of difference can't be in mood to have my money be in transfer for wanting to edit.

App is totally useless! I can't read anything that is opened with this app. Cuts off half of the documents so I can't see the right side of it. So I end up downloading the pdf and using Microsoft Office to read the document. I've done everything in settings to try and fix, even Uninstall and reinstall. Nothing works, useless. Adobe used to be the best, what happened?
Hi there! That shouldn't be happening! 🥺 Could you please share a test file with our community of experts: ( for us to assist you better? We want to investigate what's not working for you and help resolve the issues. Thanks! 🙂^VB

Love its simple UI. Good for basic reading and annotation. Presents too many premium features around the UI (home, menu, etc) for the free user. Even share feature has the whole body content dedicated to signing-in/creating Adobe's account while the standard share feature is tucked at the bottom of the screen as clipper icon. Not interested in getting into their ecosystem.

It's fine. There are a lot of PDF file reading software available for free or low, low cost. So far this has been fitting a need. But I wanted to edit something and that's where the "Free Trial" offer pops up. Nope. I'll look around and see what else I can find. I'm tired of being tricked into free trials and then being billed even when I cancel in time. Then it's a whole other hassle to get customer service and refund. All for a so-called free trial.

1. The screen appear for writing notes in 'Comments' is half the smartphone's screen. Very often it is difficult to read or write something and we have to scroll down and down multiple times. Please allow us to adjust it's screen size from full screen to half as per our convenience. 2. Also can't open multiple pdf files at the same time. To open another file, present opened file has to be closed. This creates hassle when switching off from one file to the other. 3. Can't copy text. Please fix it
Could you please explain the issue in detail at so that we may help you better? Thanks, Adobe Acrobat Team

Tired of companies like Adobe pushing subscription service and the tactic used is denial of features like being able to print. Of course when you pay for the premium version, each month, you can print, but otherwise you're up a creek. There is no reason for this other than shear greed. Adobe entrenched itself as a necessary product we can't do without. By trying to force subscription service, you push many customers away to full function FREE applications.

It's a great app that does the job it was meant to. However, so comments and signing options are a little confusing. When I use sign to add text, it disappears. Since it's not a function I use regularly on mobile, I'd still rate it 4 stars. PS do make it easier to make and access page bookmarks. It's too many taps to be convenient.

This is a great app. I like how simple it looks and it's easy to navigate the pages. Overall I like the features. Although there's quite a problem sometimes when I use the app because only one page loads and display. When I try to scroll up or scroll down, it doesn't show the other pages. I just try to do random stuff like close the the app or the file, zoom in and out etc. to fix it and it somehow works.

When I go to open my password protected pdf it starts to open and then I receive a message that some features are not supported and doesn't open. Before updating it opened fine. I did this on 2 androids to test and was able to create same issue. Before update it opened, since then it won't. Other than that it has been extremely great!

This app needs to be updated for compatibility!! I've been using it for a very long time and have occasionally received this message, but in the last few days I can't open Adobe without it closing immediately. I cleared the cache and data but that didn't fix it.... I'm at a loss for what to do because as a software developer this is frustrating since we're taught to fix our issues and help the end user. We're also taught to make sure we keep up with technology as well.

excellent app, scanned ok although gh some pages were a little blurred but still readable. HOWEVER, the orientation of several pages were incorrect being 90 & 180 degree rotated (fixed using Adobe Online). Also, it's not immediately obvious that 'save' does so to cloud not local storage, needing an additional download and cloud delete. Overall, a useful tool

Obviously, the leader in pdf's. However, "liquid mode" is a pain, and now I cannot easily find a way for it to NOT open in said mode. 1. Users cannot easily move to specific pages. I was trying to quickly get to page 87, and it was significantly more difficult. There is no point to this madness. 2. The extra load time cancels any added benefit.
Hi! Sorry, you're having trouble! Here are the steps to turn off Auto open Liquid Mode: Go to Settings --> Preferences Turn Off "Convert to Liquid Mode automatically" toggle. We're working to improve Liquid Mode, to provide feedback, click on the three dots menu when viewing a document and click "provide feedback". Thanks!^VB
