I can't update the app, anytime I try it will just show pending and stop without updating. I thought it was my former phone, but then I got another phone and it's still the same. And also auto play video ads on some website should be fixed! Wether I like to watch the ads should be by choice! Auto Playing It's really annoying!!!! And Data sucking!!!!!

Still the best overall browser, the kink with freezing up on some sites is almost gone. The latest update seem to have addressed this and it does not freeze or close very much at all now, brilliant! Still some issues with media play, where a stream suddenly do not play but the feed is live. This is more common where sites have an intro with advertisement or similar and when it happens full close and restart of browser is necessary.

Before, if I were to use a single word to describe Chrome, it would have been "convenient". For managing across multiple OSs, grouping tabs, and extensions (on the desktop). Now, the word I'd use is "ads". From the large square ads that appear on almost every other paragraph, to the ads that appear to the top and/or bottom of the screen, and to ads that appear when going from one page to another. At first I thought it was the website itself, but this seems to occur only when using Chrome.

Without doubt the best functioning browser out there. But I had to stop using it as my main browser. The amount of ads Chrome displays is breathtaking. Yes, I have the switch on - God forbid what it would look like without that!! Anyways, it's completely unusable the way it is and had to switch to something else. I wish... I wish you would let us decide if we want ads. At a minimum, lighten up. What a damn shame because Chrome really is awesome on its own.

I just love how great the sync between devices is in Chrome, which is the main reason I use it. Performance is also getting better (though there is still a huge room for improvement). I think you should give users a bit more customization, especially the ability to enable/disable tab groups, and maybe add the optional bottom navigation bar (similar to the Safari implementation).

A few months ago I switched to the native Samsung browser on my S21 Ultra. I recently switched back to Chrome to compare the two. I have to say that I prefer the Samsung browser. I does a much better job of stopping pop-ups and redirects. Adds are far less intrusive as well. I know revenue is what keeps "free" browsers available but Google just isn't doing a good job. In fact, the only time I use Chrome now is if Samsung has a hard time with making a payment. Google def needs to step it up.

A well designed browser. I can't deny its features are really good and and very stable. It's not that private like brave or kiwi, but those are based on chromium. If you want a private and a reliable browser then Firefox. But if you want robust performance, stable features and good compatibility over the web then Chrome is the way to go. Keep improving it team.

Chrome has always been my go to browser, but no more. Since the last update, I can no longer long press a link and have the option to open it in a new tab, rendering the browser useless. For example, if I'm shopping and looking at search results, how am I supposed to set aside the items I want to take a second look at? What were the developers thinking with this one? Crazy. Searching for a better option now; just installed Edge and Vivaldi. We'll see. Bye bye Chrome!

There's an interface issue with input boxes; everytime I am trying to type something in a field, the browser enlarges everything on screen to a maximum zoom, making it difficult to type. It's a major problem for me, as I write articles and forces me to use the devices native browser instead. Webpage keep freezing as well. Edit: I don't want an automated response to this. I want google to read this review here and fix their app. I'm not going through links and talking to loads of helplines.

Freezes up constantly since recent update(s). If I open a 2nd tab for a new search, then go back to the first tab's results, I can't scroll those results, it's completely frozen and usually hijacks my home & back buttons so sometimes the only way out is to lock & unlock my screen or in some cases reboot my phone. Weird, a Google product on a Google phone, rendered practically useless. Clearing activity, cache, and browsing data has zero effect on this issue. Time to find a new browser I guess.

Super terrible. As soon as I open it, it lags and then freezes up. Terrible. I also get way too many ads, either reduce the amount or take ads out completely, or simply make the app run smoother and for the love of others, make the app actually not freeze every 10 seconds of opening it. Thank you, have a nice time.

Chrome is really nice. With the service and all. I really enjoy using it. In fact, it's the only browser I use. I hope it keeps improving. There's a problem with some of my tabs not opening unless I switch off my network and reload all over. It just hooks and tell me "Chrome isn't responding, please exit". It's happened several times. Hope you fix it. Other than that, it's the best browser ❤️

It's convenient, yet, very intrusive. I appreciate the security; but; Chrome, it feels as if I'm being stalked. It feels like going to a public restroom with the door open. There's many features that are truly helpful but take it down a notch or two. Leave me space to breath and if I need assistance something; perhaps, not lots of page readings, explaining in short video is helpfully better and less time consuming. Plus, seeing ads on a game I'm playing!? Wow! Creepy! Loosen the collar.

Developer contact is out of date. For the last few days I've had to close and re open this app in order for it to work. The first time I open it and type anything in the adress bar and click enter, nothing happens. Upon closing and re opening it works correctly, however this happens all the time lately. I'm on a pixel 6 pro with all latest updates in case that makes any difference.

For the last month, I've been dealing with weird websites randomly opening when my phone is not in use. When I get up in the morning and open my phone, it automatically opens to Google and there are 25-30 open tabs. I've been to my Verizon store several times where they assure me it's not Spyware or malware, but they can't figure it out. I've tried uninstalling Google, but my phone won't let me. I would love some help. At this point, 1 star is being generous. Very frustrated.

I've never really had an issue with the mobile chrome. But recently when I open the browser tabs will all be closed. Then I'll close out and they'll all be back. Not quite every other time. But its quite annoying when I'm using my phone for work and need to be able to easily switch from the internet to a text or something. But can't really do that when tabs are disappearing.

Chrome works great. Fast, snappy and reliable. Only one problem, sometimes when opening the app, I type in a search or website and press enter, and nothing happens, the enter button has no response. I need to close the app and open it again and it works fine again. Happens about once a day, isn't a deal breaker obviously but is hopefully fixed

Used to be good and easy to use. Now extremely unpredictable. The tab groups cannot be disabled anymore in new version. While the idea is good, it's implementation is terrible. There are no clear rules concerning the tab icons at the bottom of the screen and no way to hide them in certain situations. For example fullscreen video in portrait mode is no longer fullscreen, showing the panel with no way to remove it. How did anyone think this is what users want???

Constantly freezes, websites that I use for work used to work great now don't at all or are so slow to load that I just close the browser. I have cleared cache and data multiple times, nothing resolves the issues. Just very unreliable. When it works it works great, but that's not very often. I'd suggest you use Firefox or a different web browser for the time being.

I HATE this browser ever since they got rid of the duet option which moved the menu, tabs, search, share, & home buttons to a separate toolbar at the bottom of the screen. It's impossible to reach all the way to the top for everything on these super tall phones, even with my big hands. So I guess I'm gonna have to find a new browser that has the second toolbar on the bottom for Android & has a desktop version, even though I won't be able to sync all my Google stuff anymore.
