Persistent banner asking me to buy a subscription caused me to uninstall. Love the features and functionality otherwise.
----------
Just swipe away the message and it will disappear for a month. If that doesn't work please email me!

Best series management app I've seen, and I tried many of them. No ads, no interruptions, just a very simple yet powerful series manager that allows me to stay on top of what I like to watch.
----------
Thanks! ❤️

Annabell

The app is well throughout. Just need updating about 'can not (yet) be tracked bit when you have clicked on an episode that you have see yourself. With the last update it doesn't want to open, can you can sort this out.
----------
Thank you! ❤️

Yashjit

The only else think I want is that the series should also get a proper "Watched" section like the movies have and also the way to te set certain episodes of series should be improved. Like for eg what if we click on watched an episode mistakenly? We can't repair it right?

Veronika

App stopped updating so I'm missing a lot of episodes of tv show. I've been using this app for years and was very happy but lately a lot of tv shows are not showing in released or upcoming episodes. Don't know where the problem is but I'll be looking for another app to use instead as it's going on for quite a long time without a fix. Edit: I did go throught troubleshooting. Needed to delete shows from list and add again. My progress is gone now. Not good.
----------
Have a look at https://seriesgui.de/help#syncfail for some troubleshooting steps.

Going to re-evaluate subscription later. Not syncing anymore. If I have to continually manually update then there is no point. Whatever the last update was. It didn't work. I have only a few shows added to the app. 1 of the shows I watched an episode of recently and the app correctly says so in the history section - yet in the show section itself the episode remains unwatched. Update. A year on. No response. Still the same. Im cancelling.

A great concept. I have used it for a long time. Updates sometimes go stagnant and I'm sure the majority of the problems are outside of the developer's control. Television production is not a stable industry and some release dates have become unknowable since the start of the pandemic. If there was a direct way for registered users to contribute information, the app might have better accuracy on a lot of these shows. The pro upgrade is still worth it. This app is worth trying out.
----------
Thanks! Note that most data is coming from themoviedb.org which everyone can contribute to!

Kyle

Switched to this app after the previous one I used was shut down by the creator. One thing I'd love to see with SeriesGuide is the ability to check off episodes from the widget. I'd also prefer to see the next episode I have to watch rather than which episode is the most recent to be released. Edit: Great! I look forward to the update. Thanks for the response. Also, I've fixed the second issue.
----------
Check boxes for the widget will be available with the next update, already in testing in the beta program. As for the next episode: it is the default that the next one to watch is shown. Did you maybe enable the No released episode option in advanced settings?

Daniel

This was a great app when I first started using it, but all of a sudden there are several things that seem to be wrong with the app. I'm seeing episodes of shows that don't actually exist, incorrect network info for shows, and several times I was showing multiple copies of one single episode showing on different days. There's also a red notice on several shows/episodes that I'm not sure what it means, or how to correct it. Also, the yearly subscription jumping by $3.99 is rather ridiculous.

Chaz

Not bad but you have to pay a subscription, not a one time payment, to get notifications on episodes. Would pay it if they update the app to have more easy navigation. It's not that easy to see all episodes, would be much better if they were listed vertically and more compact.

Gandolfo

I have been using this App for a long time, but lately it doesn't update all the shows. I dont have cable anymore, so I rely on this App to let me know when a show is on, so I can watch it on my firestick. Lately I have had to Google the t.v. listing to see what I missed. Please fix this. I have followed all your suggestions in the help section, and it hasn't worked.

Erin

Used to work a little better! The recent changes to the layout are fantastic but I've had shows continue for another season and the app was never updated to reflect this. I've come to believe this is glitchyness and an unfortunate anomaly but it's not particularly impressive regardless.
----------
The contributors to TheTVDB.com are typically quick to update the series. However, you might want to check your device settings: https://seriesgui.de/help#syncfail Uwe

My current favorite app to use with Trakt! Great interface and has features many other Android apps are missing. It would be perfect if it had support for Trakt's "reset watched progress" feature. I would love to have the shows I am rewatching show up on the main Shows tab. I haven't found a solid Android app that can do this. I'd also love to see Hidden shows sync with Trakt, such that hiding a show on SeriesGuide adds it to my hidden items on Trakt. Keep up the excellent work with this app!

App works great for managing a lists of movies and shows, as well as movies and shows that have been previously watched. You are able to get shows you want to watch added to a "watchlist" in app. If you add the show, the from the show select "manage list". This is the functionality that I wasn't able to find previously that lead me to leave a lower review. Since I see I am now able to have a separate list I've edited my rating.
----------
The show watchlist is a Trakt-only feature. You can find it on the discover screen (tap +, then tap on Watchlist). Due to caching at Trakt a show might not display immediately after adding it to the watchlist. I recommend just adding a show to your SeriesGuide library. Uwe

So far so good. It's pretty intuitive and more or less customizable. It has a pretty good UI, which makes it easy to add shows and keep track of which episodes you watched. Another great thing about this app is that, unlike many competitor apps, you don't have sign up or store your information in the cloud - it could be stored locally.

Guest

This is a great app - with all the shows I watch and movies that I want to see on so many different places this is an essential tool for tracking what I'm watching where and when. I'd love a feature on this though that would allow a random selection from your movie watch list though. Choosing what to watch is often my biggest problem!

Guest

Updating a previous review--developer helped me fix a minor issue I was experiencing and things work flawlessly again. This is a great app for tracking many different shows you're watching at once, and always knowing whats currently airing and when shows are coming back for new episodes. Super intuitive and easy to use, and the cloud syncing features are helpful across multiple devices. This is the app to have if you're a rabid consumer of great TV like me!
----------
If this is still an issue check if you are using a ѴРИ, proxy or ad blocker. Try turning them off. Also try another network. Uwe

It is, by far, the best TV series tracking app I have tried (and that's just the free version), and if you want some good basic film tracking as well, this is it for you. Various series sorting possibilities, a "Hide" option to keep them neat, both infinite and not "Recent" and "Upcoming" ep/s tabs, custom lists you can add whole series, seasons or single ep/s to, the option to hide ep/s' summaries to avoid spoilers, a most helpful "Skip" option for ep/s and seasons, excellent backup options.

Guest

After a few minutes of fiddling with the app, so far, it looks pretty good. What I would really like to see is an option to set *where* I am following a show, e.g. Netflix, Amazon Prime, DVD, local file, whatever. Per show or even per season. Also, I'd like to be able to move something that was put into "Special Episodes" into a Season, as is the case with Doctor Who (2005): Depending on the episodes guide used, special Christmas episodes and such might be counted as part a season.

Guest

The go-to app to track your TV Shows, showing when the next episode will air, with the seasons, episodes names, descriptions and all info you could ask for for free. Can't afford the paid version yet, but considering the hassle that was re-adding shows when changing phones, would go for the premium cloud syncing. (the local backup function is free though)
