Heart rate monitor, innovative and smart in combination with a BLE chest strap
Innovative display and documentation of the heart rate in combination with a Bluetooth Smart chest belt. After the configuration of the individual settings and training zones, and a connection to the chest belt the heart rate is visualized as an absolute value of beats per minute and as a percentage of the stored maximum heart rate value of the user. Additionally, the deviation (variability) of the separate heart beats is displayed in milliseconds. The different training zones are individually colored and easily comprehensible. After starting the recording, the statistical values (MAX, AVG, and MIN) are updated continuously. Furthermore, the intensity of the training (TRIMP, CR10, kcal, a timeline of HR, zone duration) is displayed as an accumulated sum, as percentages, and as a graph.Recorded training sessions can be documented and shared in several ways like Dropbox, email, or others. The recording produces a summary of training results as a PDF file and a CSV file containing the raw training data.Best results will be achieved with the recommended chest belt from BM innovations GmbH.

DEVELOPERS Please could you add a upper and lower alarm and auto rotate screen. The app itself is not bad. You must connect to Bluetooth from inside the app. If you have error you need to click search again and connect to Bluetooth.

Donna

If I could give it less, I would. Specifically bought pulse oximeter that would connect to Bluetooth and keep records for my doctor but this app sucks. Won't connect most of the time. I have to go to Bluetooth to tell it to connect and it constantly tells me I need an app to connect (which this is). Sometimes I can go to the play store and open it from there and it will work but those times are rare. In the meantime my pulse rate is going up out of frustration trying to get this to work.

Gayatri

It's stuck on "Permission Errors." Shows that it doesn't have location access when it definitely does. Won't move forward with tracking the readings at all. Disappointed.

Paul

Insisted on knowing my location all the time and wanted access to my photos and media which makes no sense. After I denied those it wouldn't let me do anything. Not going to give apps access to my phone untethered without some kind of explanation. Suggest you find a different app.

rom

I have copd so if I want to show my doctor a reading I need to connect to the app first, then select my profile. when I'm having an attack and fighting for breath, that's a real hassle. Would be better if it connected as soon as I opened the app.

Claire

Easy to install and set up users (cannot then ever update or delete users). Connecting to the oximeter was fine and was in my instruction leaflet. I could display my results on screen with real time pulse rate. My data recorded to my 'chart' once only on the first use. No more data ever appeared there nor in any charts of other users. Hence this device is only useful for real time results. I probably won't use the app again. The device itself is fine and I'll use again.

I don't understand the previous reviews left by other people ? The app works and does what its supposed to do is display sp02 , blood pressure and PI index. One review says its asking for Bluetooth access / permission on his phone ?? of course it will ask this as it needs to connect to the Oximeter via Bluetooth , therefore it will need access. Stop the hate people and read the instructions before you start leaving bad unhelpful feedback. Tested on BM1000C model, works fine for me :)

Alfonso

I got it to work but its very simple. it basically tells you the same information that's on the pulse oximeter. This app needs to be rebuilt from the ground up. 3 stars because i got it to work and displays the info correctly. I really wish the developers would upgrade this app. It has potential.

Works Only If you can connect quick, my meter switches off after 10 seconds so i have to keep pressing the on button every 7 seconds only to get non paired notice. Run app. Get the meter running on finger, you should have ur BT on and select Berry before you start above app. If all goes well a pop up of meter device will open in one of the app pull down settings. Turn on Beep option (opp) but handy. Should come to life after that. Meter Display is very bland, needs colour and more 3D Look

How to connect Instructions: place device on finger and turn on. open app. Click start. Click search icon in top corner, look for berrymed address, click berrymed and now device will connect. Now that device is paired with phone. Next use you can click start and device should auto.atically connect. Make sure your phone bluetooth is on. Tested on Samsung galaxy s4, samsung note 9, iphone 7 and samsung tablet all working.

Vipul

Frequently disconnected, once finger removed it mostly didn't connected automatically after app run once paired it must automatically connect but we have to pair manual every time which is rejected by device and then app has search option enabled and by clicking on that it's connected after two three try. Overall connectivity issue, user change is not proper and no histry data show option. Lot of improvement pending in app and device connectivity issues...

Needs Bluetooth, location, file access!! Just to use the 02 sensor on your phone, this app wants to spy on you with all these unnecessary permissions. Other apps that measure oxygen don't need any of these permissions. Quite a deceptive data-collecting spy app.

Guest

Very minimalist app. Collects data and new data overwrites old data! About what you would expect for an app written for a commador 64 kilobyte computer. Please update this app to something approaching a post 2000 app.

Will not connect to Bluetooth with Android 9 on Moto G6 . It did connect on my older Android 6 Moto G4 and seems to be working ok. Tried using the RESEARCH button on the app to find the BerryMed bluetooth on my Moto G6 but it still did not find it. All permissions are on. I guess I can just use my G4 to hopefully record thru-out the night as I sleep. If it records without stopping thru the night then I will update with better rating.

Basic and buggy. Can not remove users, can not access nor update user information once entered other than by clearing data and start over. Not obvious which oxymeter to select after a search. The export to csv file is not even done correctly. It is missing the date heading. Can not access recordings history by date. Averages (spo2, pulse, pi%) of a recording session would be more useful than the charts imo. I must do that in google sheets each time after exporting csv file.

Guest

Minimalist interface. Instructions exceptionally poor. Not intuitive. Does not seem to be a way to delete users. Can't update existing users. What PI%, it doen't tell you anywhere. At best a decent proof concept, but not ready for primetime.

Oxycare 'works' at least some of the time. It can record SPO2 and pulse rate (I had it record for 3 hours at one time and emailed myself the data). As others have written, you have to explore to get a device (I used a BM1000C) to communicate with the app, and to send the recorded data to yourself via email. Once, data stopped recording for no apparent reason (the device itself did not seem to have been interrupted). No apparent way to specify alternate recording intervals (the default is every second).

Guest

Works flawlessly. Connects to my BM1000C, displays measurements real-time on screen and records all the data for export. Really simple with no bells and whistles.

Guest

I like that this app works (it reads data and saves log in plain text) but the design (whole outlook and how functionality) is bad. Don't expect it to sync data with Google Fit or Apple Health. You get what you pay for, right?

Guest

App is ok, once you figure it out. You have to click the "search button" (magnifying lens) in the upper right corner of the screen to tell it which of the Bluetooth devices to connect to. Would be a lot better if they just told you this.

Thanks, maybe we shoud show a tip about the search button.
