App REVIEWS
Hey, me again. So Arceus came out about a month ago and I'm trying to complete the pokedex (and a living dex) but it's difficult to find the locations. So if you do add the Arceus dex that would be amazing but otherwise this app is AMAZING. You can build a team and calculate damage and catch rates, and it's free unlike other dex apps. It does only have up to sword and shield but it's so helpful when playing the old games. In short 10/10 would recommend.
Good app with plenty of data, some minor nitpicks though. For instance, many of the Generation VIII moves do not have information on the learnset tabs. Overall a good app, could use some minor tweaks to become truly great.
Very useful and helpful when I'm in a Pokemon mood. The only thing I would like to see is the ability to jump to an ability info page from a Pokemon's info, instead of having to back out all the way to the abilities sections. Like, the way you can go from a specific move to a Pokemon that knows that move without having to back out all the way to the home menu. Do that for abilities too, please.
It has everything you need whenever you're going through a playthrough or something. It has complete info on moves, abilities, and pokemon. No bugs or anything. Overall, very useful app.
Amazing app. As someone who uses the app to find what level pokemon evolve, where to find them, abilities, learnsets, etc., it's an amazing tool. I only have two complaints, and one isn't even necessary. 1. I wish that when you are on a certain region's pokedex, and you look at a pokemon's move pool, it would remember what generation you're playing so you don't have to always change the moveset list. 2. I wish that the app would update faster. BDSP changes move pools, and it's hard to find them
Damage Calculator tool is a mess. The moves when searched are jumbled, not even alphabetically organized. Then, when you press calculate, the app turns white for 2 seconds then resets. I never tried using the damage calculator in the past so I don't know if this is a recurring problem or not. But can anyone please fix this?
The app itself is amazing. The interface is very handy, the added tools are really useful, and for the most part it has every piece of info a Pokemon fan would want. The only down to the app is that the updates based on new games are really slow, and usually when they happen they have almost no info. Other than that though, if you're searching for a good info and strategy tool to use for playing gens 1-6 games, I recommend it
Really amazing app! I use it all the time! It has really accurate data on all pokemon, moves, gym leaders, items and so on. It is really useful during a play through of any games. It does have a problem with the damage calculator as it crashes every time i hit calculate. I hope it will be fixed. Apart from that amazing!!
It gives useful information to almost every Pokemon. It tells their stats, moves, shinies, egg group, locations for almost every game. It can be kind of confusing with older games though, but that is because as the series goes on the moves a Pokemon can learn and when it can learn them can change. Overall it is very useful though and it us nice to be able to lool at the egg group of a Pokemon and then use a filter to see all others in it
Beautiful interface and easy to navigate, but some of the information is "too" up to date. You have no option of seeing movesets from previous generations. Many of which have changed greatly in Sword and Shield.
This is my absolute favorite Pokemon game reference app ever!!!!! I LOVE that I don't have to be connected to the internet to use it. Thank you so very much for the sword and shield support. The search bar works exceptionally well to find Pokemon quick and see how they evolve as well as their weaknesses. I love seeing the shiny version of each Pokemon too. I have benefited from using this app for years! Thank you again. =]
Best Pokedex app available imo. All features are unlocked without a paywall and all the info you actually want as a player is right there where you need it when you look for it. The UI leaves a bit to be desired and there doesnt seem to be a paid option to remove the ads, but honestly for the breadth of functionality its provides for free its easily the best pokedex app on the play store that ive found.
App gives all the information one really needs it's pretty much perfect and is already useful af but I have 3 feature requests; gen sorting for items, moves contest attributes for oras, and an ev yield section with a filter for different EVs like defense or special attack. Out of all of the recommendations the third is the most useful for everyone and I hope you consider it, if it's already a feature please let me know!
Good and useful app. The most comfortable for me in comparison with others app like this. Provides less into than Bulbapedia, but still contains all the required stats and significantly more comfortable. The only bad side is that it takes too long to update for the next gen. Not only 8th, but 7th as well took lot of time
This app is awesome and it has most of basic stuff you need to know. But there some stuff they should add to the app. First suggestion, you being able to see the definition to the ability when you looking at a pokemon instead of backing out all the way to the main screen and going to the ability list. Second suggestion, you being able to sort the move by a specific type.
It'd be nice if it also showed the level of the pokemon is in certain areas. It tells you where to find them but not what level they may be. Sometimes I end up going overpowered or too weak to catch them. Also would be great if it was updated to Pokemon Lets go, even though its a remake, itd make it easier if they added info on the game, locations, items, etc from the game.
The app is organized really well. I like how much you can see about a Pokémon on just one page. However, there are still some errors. For example, it says that leech life does 80 damage. Unless they powered up the attack in the later games, it should say only 20 damage.
This app is exactly what I was hoping for. A fast, offline database for everything Pokemon! I recently started replaying some of my older games and this has been great for remembering when Pokemon evolve and learn moves. My one complaint is that I wish I could go into settings and tell it to always sort by a specific generation or game instead of having to choose it every time I go to a page. I'm playing Fire Red, I don't need to see Pokemon from X and Y.
Only issue is inability to set a default game - means whenever you go into a pokemon's moveset, it defaults to Sun/Moon and you have to change to the one you want. Very tedious. Otherwise, info is neatly organised. Also love the Team Builder feature under Tools. Very handy! Updated: have since noticed that statistics & description for moves are listed at value & move effect for latest gen, regardless of gen selected. Misleading as often this has changed. Bulbapedia ftw.
I wish it had updated move data according to the game selected in the filter when viewing a Pokemon's move pool, such as power and accuracy changes between gens. If I'm replaying an early game, this information usually isn't accurate so I still have to go back to Bulbapedia for that. Also, maybe have the egg moves available for each evolution instead of just the base pokemon in all the gens, not just the newest game filter. Also, I noticed petalburg woods is missing from the hoenn locations. Otherwise this is my go-to app. Thanks!
