I don't know if it's my phone or the app. I read the messages before I can even get notifications which is weird. There are so many times that I open the message and yet it's blank that even the old messages are not there. Sometimes,I get a notification and when I try to open it, I can't scroll for new messages. Instead,I see old conversations not the new one. Even if I restart my phone ir uninstall and install it back, it doesn't help.please fix these issues and more

Don't even receive notifications for messages half the time, you can imagine how frustrating and upsetting that can be not just to me but to the people sending me messages. Now I try to reply to a message in the notification bar, hit send, and it doesn't send. I've wasted meaningful time and energy on messages that I can't recover. Uninstalled. Moving to email and text.

Bring back the "ignore message" it's better than restrict, for a lot of reasons. Also whenever sending photos or videos, the quality is low :( hope you can do something about it. The app is really cool, it's free and have a lot of nice features but it's laggy. It loads too long even if you have good internet connection. Another issue with this app is it takes SO LONG before you log in. It's a really smart way to connect with your friends. That's it thankyou!

If you want problems, then this is the app for you! Not only do you get a notification from the Facebook app, about a post you've been tagged in, you get another notification from messenger about the same thing! (Can't turn it off either) Now here's the kicker, it'll say you have unread messages, and after re-installing the app, these "unread" messages are ones that you'd have sent to someone as a reply. Help, support, and bug reporting produced no results at all, wack.

Having numerous issues with the app since I switched to a Samsung Galaxy S22, the 2 most important (to me): -Incoming calls will cause my phone to vibrate, but I won't know where it's coming from until I get a notification I missed a call. -If I attempt to send a voice message when opening a chat bubble, no audio records. The full app has to be open in the background for it to record audio (possible permissions issue accessing mic? I don't send video messages, so not sure if this is same)

Will continue to use it. But I can't see what people are replying to and there is a certain problem when watching videos through chat heads. And right now my chat head is at the top right corner of my screen, blocking my "post" button. I can't move it. If I try to, I would only be faced with the playback layout of videos. Please fix this.

I've been experiencing some problems with this application. First, the call is having audio issue which results on not having any sound from the person you are calling. It happens a lot and I need to restart ng phone in order to have a good audio. Second, there are times that there is also no sound when watching together some video. Once it starts to have an audio issue, it last until the end of call so you need to restart again. Third, there are also times that you cannot play the games.

This has been a very helpful and convenient app amidst the bugs and all. I'm glad that the developers always continue working on it to improve it many ways. However, I still recommend a scheduled sending option so we could send messages on a specific time for specific occasions and a pin feature to highlight important messages. Edit: A lot of bugs lately.

Sound quality on video or audio calls is so bad. It cuts out the other person if I have any type of background noise. No other app does that and I have found no settings to fix this. It's awful! The visual quality of the video is pretty poor too, along with the way your video screen is laid out. The zoom function doesn't work properly overall this app is not working well. I don't even have a facebook anymore, I might just delete this app too and move to another app I have

Needs option to disable quick reaction. In any communication app, there needs to be controls in place to stop inadvertent signal/messages/etc. Quick reactions and the tendency for the app to just go ahead and do a "quick reaction" is the opposite of what a good communication app should do. I do not want a quick reaction every time I click anywhere on the screen even if I'm not even trying to click in the messenger app window at all. This is miscommunication. Total fail.

Well if it isn't clear by the flood of recent reviews I don't know what is. The recent update sucks balls. They need to fix it asap! No notifications and now it's force exiting the app when I'm in the middle of messaging. For a long time, video chat hasn't been notifying properly (sound of ringing but no way to answer and no visual indicator). And based on what I've seen, the apple version works fine, so this is android app specific. Figure it out facebook!!!

Switching accounts causes it to flicker and flip forcing me to Uninstall / reinstall. This seems to happen when clicking a notification of a message on the page, when I am logged in my personal Messenger. The above problem was fixed in a later version. I'm glad, but now sometimes it will not display certain messages on Android. The text shows up in search, but display as blank messages.

My messages are disappearing almost immediately. I just sent a message and it disappeared, I backed out and in my list of messages it's showed the conversation but when I clicked on it there was nothing there. I also can't look at any past messages right now. This app keeps malfunctioning more then it works. I've been using other apps because this one's gotten so unreliable.

It's good for talking to your contacts, but the message notifications are very inconsistent, like sometimes I'll get notifications but other times I won't. I haven't done anything to set this off, it just happens and it's completely random. I haven't blocked or muted any notifications, this just happens, and it's happened for a while, try and fix it.

The end call button is at the top of the app. Which i find difficult to end a call using 1 hand. Messaging is okay and quick. Saying that connecting a call takes a long time is an understatement. I can no longer make use of the app to make calls. Im using viber for calls nowadays. Update: end call Button has been moved to the bottom of the screen. Connectivity is still in and out with 85% reliability.

I use the App often to communicate with friends and family, more than text messaging. But now, for some reason, there is no clear indication between open and unopened messages. I get a notification to say I've received a message, but when I look at my conversation list, nothing is in bold like previously to clearly see any unread messages. This is going to cause issues, please fix this.

App has gotten worse, for the past month I don't get any notifications of incoming video or chat calls, I don't even get notifications for messages either. They all just randomly stopped. This needs to be fixed. All my settings are fine too with thr phone and within the app. Hopefully you fix this bug soon! As I am not the only one with these issues.

Some of the features aren't working. Pictures are not delievered, it just says "sent a photo". Other than that the themes that depend on what time of the day you're in, aren't working as well. Playing videos would make the app unusable, and you have to re-open the app just to make it work again. It's frustrating how many users there are, and yet these basic features aren't working.

A decaying app! Lately when trying to send voice messages and it shows that it has been sent, it looks as though the message was 0 seconds but if i click on it, it plays the whole thing but makes me confused about if the receiver can hear the message or not. Also it seems as though I don't always get message notifications for some reason. And now that I try to search in conversations, it doesn't work!

I used this app for the past 5 years but it has never been so "unusable" until now.. Picture-in-picture is barely working and even if it is, it is just blocking the touch (literally no touch). To end a call, I have to tell the person I am talking with to end it as when I press the end button nothing happenes. About the messages themselves, they send when they want, no matter if you have a connection or not. The videos don't have a preview anymore, you must click on them to view them. Etc...
