App REVIEWS
I have a Jabra earphones Bluetooth and I can't connect it to my new phone because you have to have the connect app and Google Play store don't offer that no more so now I have to get a whole new Bluetooth earphone which doesn't make me very happy they offer the service but not the connect I don't understand that long story short I don't want to have to buy a new Bluetooth earphone
Apparently this is needed to enable a second app, Jabra Assist, but that app does almost nothing for my 25E's - oh, it reports battery level on the earplugs. Wow. App #2 can't load the identified manual: THAT may be useful, but no... I read in the comments that this service introduces a ticking sound that I've been hearing, so out it goes, to check. I find I can't carry my phone in a trouser pocket and not hear intermittent dropouts in my 25E earplugs, so I'll test without it. All in all, poor.
App is needed for functions like gps and heart rate monitor on jabra sport elite wireless earbuds, but running this service causes constant ticking sound in right ear bud. Not effected by media playback or volume, the ticking sound is constant. Only stops if I uninstall the Jabra Service app, but then the earbuds don't function the way they were advertised. Your app is ruining these headphones and I demand a solution. You sold me a product then ruined it.
OK, figured it out, download Jabra assist then when you turn the headset on, hold the button in for like 20 seconds instead of 5. RE:I just bought the elite 25 or whatever and I connected it straight away but then I realised there was an app and as soon as I downloaded the app it can't connect to my phone anymore, even after I deleted the app, does that mean part of the app is still in my phone after deleting? Or has it just corrupted my head phones, regardless my advice is not to download app.
Also, what in the world?! Your products (Jabra Talk 25) is not compatible with ANY of your Jabra apps! What is the point in having a product that is NOT even compatible with its OWN product??????? This is worthless. The whole things is. Seriously, what is the point of the product if it works with NOTHING other then answering phone calls and talking with google voice chat. This is a completely worthless product for ANY business platform use.
Generally good but can be a bit unstable. Sometimes, even though you think it is connected, it isn't; especially if you've stayed out of bluetooth range for a short while. Seems to struggle to fully reconnect!
App doesn't connect to elite pulse earbuds. People reviewing and 5 starring saying "app launch will solve issue" are incorrect. This clearly doesn't work for all conne tion issues! Jabra needs to sort app themselves! Update I have contacted jabra and despite the numerous reviews and complaints they are unaware of any issues! I followed their advice and the earbuds still don't work. They have said a replacement is only option. But 1 month out of warrenty.... So no help from jabra at all!
If all you do is listen to music, they will be fine. Not sure why there is not a noise canceling feature with these. Whenever I get a phone call with them in, all the people do is complain about how loud the background noise is. Would be a 5 star if they put some effort in the phone call side of the platform. Connects just fine with my phone every time and the battery life is good. There is also no mute button and I tend to use that often in my job while using Bluetooth. So.. 3 stars max
Jabra technical services is super poor and slow. Till todate the Sound+ Apps still fail to launch in Android 9 Smartphones (using Elite Active 65t) particularly on Huawei Mate 20 Pro. Despite repeated reports made online and via email, all reports went to deaf ears and now 4 months had gone. Still no solution and workable updates. Super Frustrated. Will not recommend this product if this issue is not solved.
I just got the Jabra Elite Sport and downloaded the proper app to connect to my Huawei P20 Pro. The headset connects easily and without flaw most of the time. But the sports app depends on this service app, and it does not work very well at all. I was about to return the EUR 220,00 headset because I could not use the sports features. However, changing the settings in Configuration->Battery->App Launch to "Manual" and enabling all three options, seems to have improved/fixed connectivity ...
Completely useless. Multiple attempts and cannot connect my Jabra elite 25e headphones to my Google Pixel XL. And why are two apps necessary? I do not need any additional apps nor do I have any problems connecting the same headphones to an Apple device. The headphones sound fine, but I will be forced to return them because I cannot connect to my cell phone. 😫😤🤯
I have a Huawei p20 lite and the services app is unable to start. I cannot change the background settings on my phone to allow it to run in the background. Although the headphones are great the app and the extra features are not available. This isnt really acceptable when you pay so much for headphones.
Ive had a pair of Jabra Elite headphones for less than 3 months. Suddenly they started pausing at random every 30sec. Was told by Jabra Tech Support that downloading this app, in addition to Jabra Sound, would solve the problem. If anything, the playback issies have gotten worse. Seriously frustrating.
This gets installed as a companion app of Jabra sound+.However, despite giving all necessary background battery usage permissions and repeated reinstalling, updating android software of Galaxy S8+, this app does nothing. It was designed for older version of Android. The Jabra Elite Active 65t and the Jabra Sound+ app are completely unusable. UPDATE! App started working on its own after a day. It's amazing.Very effective, does everything I need. Attractively designed. Makes Jabra headset the best
intention is Useful and simple app design. i like that it allows you to find the headphones if lost. however new users beware, its an Intrusive app. it requires to run in the background constantly. i would recommend downloading and update your Jabra software via the app. after that uninstall it. do this every 3-6 month to check for newer updates. beacuse having it installed drains your headphone and phone battery fast.
Very frustrated with this app. I can't pass the pairing process though the app. It works okay with my phone though but I can't use the app as it doesn"t get pass that "go oto bluetooth settings" process. Therefore the headphones (elite 65T and Elite sport, I have both) don't have too much power... Very disapointed. And no answer from mail support what so ever.
thanks for breaking my elite45 headphones. i have turned off battery saving and gave special permission to run in the background but it still dissconnects and reconnects every 30 seconds to 3 minutes. these are unusable now. i also have 8gb ram on my oneplus 6t so its not getting cleared out. i do all that stuff manually anyway so nothing is auto stopping it on my end.
Can't review this app properly as I cannot get past pairing my headphones with Bluetooth. I select the product (elite 65t), press the button until it flashes blue, and then the app prompts me to my Bluetooth settings where I pair.. that's great and all and the product is working except in regards to the app itself, it will not proceed past this point.
It doesn't support Huawei Mate 20. And I assume it doesn't support all Android 9. Because the Jabra service can not work on background . And in the Huawei " App Launch " Jabra service is not listed there , so I can't change any Launch strategy. Only change the setting of sound + doesn't help at all
Good sounds quality but eats battery like crazy. Also no icon and the only way to communicate to it is through the app store which seems a little shady. Also as I move it work out, it loses connection. They keep saying I need to reset my device but it is not doing anything.
