Google Go

I've actually removed a good number of apps from my home screen because I can open them within Google Go (Facebook, YouTube, etc). I downloaded this app with that expectation, you could get to different apps on it and all the features it has, but once I sign in and close the app when I open it again it is stuck on the discover page. I have uninstalled it several times, like a previous reviewer mentioned, and it still does it. I hope it does get fixed, I really want to use the app.

This is a great app but recently it doesn't show the home page. I tried uninstalling and installing again but no change. If i wanted the news feed i would use chrome or some other app. It would be better if we could choose whether or not we want to see the feed.

This is the worst google app. Because you have taken the best parts out, such as voice recognition and how it searches.No casting mirroring,no projecting,are you in a dream world where technology goes backward The worst part is it can't be deleted.APK GO AWAY!!! Now I have discovered that it was forced down the throats ofalll fhe underprivileged people of this Earth. Just another way to separate the poor from the rich.

Can't able to read(text to speech) on chat GPT page OHTHER ISSUES: Suppose if I open Wikipedia and want to read a specific section of it. There is no feature that I click on that paragraph or select to read. I found a bug that some time the speech automatically stop and when click on play button it reads from starting point again. Its better if it has dark mode.

I might change my review after future updates but, 1. You can't access your search history as quick as you can on the og Google (sus of me to point out I know) 2. The image quality isn't as good as Ggo, but the app does seem to run a little smoother than the og Google. I think this version is supposed to be for devices that don't have much memory, but I think the orientation should b more like og Google

This is weird, the first time it works and i can access to apps easily and get back by a swipe, but after that on the same day I can only get this news page and nothing else! I looked in all settings options and no clue, somehow I feel like this app is misleading! I respect Google products and development very much but this behavior of the app is pushing me to uninstall it. I really liked the main function of the app, if you fix it I will definitely give you 5 stars.

User Account that is active does not show. You should also be able to filter out the news you want to receive and interestes in. Thus keeping your phone memory stable from receiving too much news feeds and summary. It should be narrowed down to 5 to 10 post of interest. That way keeping your news feed fast, free from logging and clutter. Since, your making changes, you leave your users little much options.

They did a good work with the go, but there is a big problem that is when you are writing a word it doesn't let you write your own words it has to be the one it predicts. And it doesn't automatically remove the suggested word it just overlaps with our own word. That's not cool. Please work on this feature. And the other thing is your picture to words feature works perfect in english but it doesnt really work greate converting english to other languages. I hope you fix those issues immediately.

Whoever's smart idea was to put the Discover page with news of irrelevant issues as a home default should be fired because we are not interested. What happened to the old one, the apps, gifs????? I like it better. I like setting a wallpaper because it's pretty but it is nowhere to be seen. So teams of Google I am waiting for change back to the original please. Thank you.

I really like the app! when it works, which is only when it is first installed. At that point, all of the apps can be seen and accessed. From then on, when Google Go is opened all that you get is a search bar. Pair that with this glitchy Google Pro 6 phone and I am wondering what is happening in Google Development Dept.

It's an excellent app. Recently it's not showing the home page, where the quick websites was showing up. I tried updating and reinstalling the app couple of time but could not resolve the issue. It shows news by default on homepage on opening the app, previously it was there on right side & was accessible by swiping to right. Now no left/right swiping is available and no quick/most famous website grouping available. Check with the app.

The app is good but it would be cool without the lens. Why would someone think about migrating the Lens from Photos to Google Go and adding a rude female voice, "Take photo of the words you want to understand." In addition to that, I don't actually want to understand just words, sometimes I want to do a reverse image search.. but in certain Android 11 devices, that's impossible and I have to rely on some stupid third party apps

I'm I'm having trouble finding where the GIFs Google go app to its original page with the Gifs,searches and web pages and searches it's not showing it from when I first downloaded. It keeps disappearing to regular Google. I wand the category choices of It's original content when downloaded. Like the blue picture you have that show As my interest in one app when you first open the Google Go app. It doesn't show that anymore why and where did it go and how to get that page back.

It's also been recently permanently stuck on the "Discover" page for me too & also removed completely from the bottom menu is the "Add To Homescreen" (or whatever it said) button/option! I was confused thinking it was an intentional deliberate change to the app until I just saw here another user's review mentioning the same issue. Searching for this problem or a fix or anything about it at all turned up no relevant results either. I don't know what's going on but I'll send feedback in app too ♡☮

This is a perfect example of someone fixing something that is not Brocken.. And then brake it.,... Old Google search so easy. Want to see images. Just click on image under the search box... Same with video. Same with shopping. Some idiot has done away with the thing it's sopposed to do. And just filled up the screen with nonsense..... A great way to teach at university of how a company becomes Woolworths.

I've used this app for the longest time and I've never had too many problems with it but there's a problem which is sometimes if you download an image it would say it downloaded while in reality t didn't so I hope that gets fixed. I also hope you guys can add the voice to switch between the discover feed and the original icon page for when you open the app because I did prefer the icons. Thanks.

I don't know what happened, but for a week now some lousy news snipits keeps showing up over my home screen and I lose all my saved searches. The only way I've found to get rid of them is to uninstall, update to reinstall and they go away, temporarily. And now that doesn't work and I've tried everything I can think of, has my phone been hacked? A factory reset didn't eliminate the problem and now I can't even finish this paragraph to explain what's going and it's done it again.

aight, damn. the last update is such a mess. it randomly shows other results and I lost the previous results. where's the homepage? did I lose all my web shortcuts? and no apps? it much prettier with wallpaper. and now all gone? once I thought it'll be a good idea to switch to Google that isn't go version. but I remember that my android is go edition so I think it's just gonna filled up my storage. pls make it like the older version since the newest is not even helpful

What happened to the app choices that were previously on GOOGLE GO? Since this new update, they are gone. And, in the settings part, it still allows option to change your wallpaper, but, when selected, it doesn't change. GO is now like regular Chrome and the Google page. I had all my saved apps on GO, EBAY, ETSY, INDEED, FOOD NETWORK, etc. And, now they are gone. WHAT HAPPENED? If you look at your own description of the app, it actually shows a pic on how the app should look with the apps listed

So I still don't know why the sudden change - but I figured out how to put the home page back the way that I wanted it ....... No thanks to the no longer working email address below. I just kept trying to get to different settings places on my phone and deleted the cache and history from outside the app, in my phone's app manager.
