Game REVIEWS
The game is still broken for the s22+ When I say broken, I mean that your draw distance is 10 m, and you can't see any scratch marks as killer or survivor with a perk. If you have any s22 phone and you live in Europe, don't bother downloading it. I suspect that only the s22 exynos chip/version (European version) is having this problem, and the developers still didn't fix that issue.
I'm really disappointed in this new version... the game doesn't feel the way it used to. Graphics aren't as good, controls are absolutely abysmal, and all my progress got erased. You can't turn and lunge like before where it added fun mindgames on both ends, killer controls feel very bad now, and looping as a survivor isn't the same, you can't hug objects as tightly nor 360 the same. The game just feels very linear now and it hurts to play... ya lost a player today behaviour...
Good game, but there's a lot of bugs and issues with the movement of survioirs. You are running from the killer and somehow you just turn 180 degrees running towards the killer. Also there's numerous time where you run and vault through windows or other things and once you jump you give 3 or 4 steps and the killer just somehow manages to hit you o grab you, no máster if you jumped a 2 story building it just grabs you. The game is amazing but they should really fix this issue cause it's unplayabl
I like the game so much, all this time I never found a game that can be so much fun, interest ,all the horror & action which I like. The devastating characters as such the killers that give survivors a horrifying and terrifying experience making them running around like chickens with their heads cut off. And I also very much like the perks, offerings & different types of costumes of the killer section by having the ability to hunt down survivors.
The games ranking system makes no sense. You can go ahead and repair some generators, heal and unhook other survivors, get chased, and make it out with no game rank progress made. Then, you can do the bare minimum. Which is to make no repairs, unhook 1 survivor, heal someone, camp, and escape through the hatch. When you do this, you get your game rank up?! All in all, I was going to give it a 4 star due to the fact it can be fun and when party up with friends, but due to ranking it gets 3.
It's good but I have a few issues I think need to be addressed. The button layout is one of them, it's really cramped and you end up getting caught on stuff or struggling to climb over/vault,As killer you struggle to catch a survivor and hit them. 2. The killer's outfits only being able to be bought with the auric cells, that's ridiculous. You used to be able to buy it with the shards. I shouldn't have to only be able to get aruic cells through Purchase. Haven't even earned them through tasks-
Honestly, it's really good. I have fun playing it, and they give a lot of good rewards as you start that allow you to progress well with perks and the bloodweb. I love the casual non-ranked matches. The non-ranked matches give you the power to learn killer better and overall get a gist of the game as you start off by being survivor. Had a great experience so far!
It's pretty good. I love the console version of the game and have a good amount of time on it. I downloaded this one so I have a backup in case something goes wrong with the console. Honestly, this is a good port of the game. The controls, however are super clunky. I've only played killer so far, but based on the tutorial the clunky controls would make survivor a pain to play. The graphics are good and the cutscenes are nice. It isn't near as fun as the console or PC version of the game though.
DBD mobile is starting to feel just like the PC version which is a good thing. The main reason I am rating it 4 stars is because it isn't available in the playstore in my country and there is a slight lag while vaulting as survivor. Other than that, the graphics and gameplay are awesome. I just wish more killers and survivors were added.
1. 1 hook mori so that I have to wait for my friends forever until they finish the match 2. Ridiculous hitboxes cause of lag. 3. Some parts of some maps are so dark I can't see what's in front of me unless I set my graphics to high. I didn't have that problem with the previous dbd. 4. Some bottom cosmetics made a different walking sound which was the reason I bought so many of them and now the sound is gone
The game recreates PC experience surprisingly faithfully. It's performance is superb too, which, as I read, didn't use to be the case. The controls do take a while to get used to, but I guess it comes with the territory. Certain killers (e.g. the Nurse) are a real pain to play because they require precise aiming. Others (like the Trapper) are actually pretty OK. The survivor experience is generally flawless. This is very impressive.
love almost everything about the game, other than a couple bugs(which is normal for a mobile game) and that the game isn't fully up to the same point the console and PC version is at in terms of perks and killers and such. my biggest complaint has to be the controls, they are rather crowded. still love this game though and have recommended it to a few people at this point.
I played the previous version and was also a little upset by how poorly the migration went but I have to save at the overall game play and graphics are a hell of a lot better than what we had before. Also it's really nice to be able to run the game at a high frame rate. It feels a lot more on par with console. Netease as a company sucks and there's definitely some monetization aspects that are kind of scummy but it's for cosmetics and doesn't really affect gameplay so I don't really care.
Needs work. The servers constantly crash making it 2/10 chance you'll even start a game. There are bots in what should be actual matches. A few bugs still litter the game. I'm not exactly sure how older phones are going to keep up as the graphics are very demanding even on fairly recent phones. Some characters are missing from the game still. The new UI isn't very friendly especially to new players. The old version of DBD mobile was much better. Overall 3.5/10.
Honestly, an amazing port of the game. The graphics are good. The controls are fully customizable and they start you with a pretty reasonable control layout in the first place. The only thing i dislike about the game is the very low render distance. You can't see very far in front of you, making it hard to navigate sometimes. I understand that this may be a limitation to prevent lag, however, i do think that your render distance should be able to be changed in the settings if possible.
It fun for the most part as survivors trying to be a killer is a pain because it takes way to long to get into a game. I also encounter a couple of bugs and network issues when playing so fix that . graphics are not bad gameplay is good overall. My main complaint is long queuing sessions for being a killer. But overall not a bad game and it's fun to play with friends.
I have spent hours on the old version and used to play on a regular basis, but now I have to quit this new one. Netease have ruined this game for me and many others. -killer can swing from a distance and still get a hit because of the horrible lag/hitboxes which is annoying. Looping killers is impossible because of this. -now there is no way of getting auric cells, you just have to pay for them. -so many of the characters and maps we had are missing. -flashlight blinding sound effects are gone.
Overall the update is a success in terms of content, but one very important and urgent problem that needs a fix is the game not getting past the home screen when mobile data is being used rather than wifi. This compromises the very essence of mobile gaming as it is not very mobile if you can't get past the loading screen on mobile data. Second issue is the pallet drop button not popping up at the right time this ruins the experience. Other than that I think BHVR going good...
The game itself runs perfectly. Though the survivors seem to be rather easy to play but the killers are nearly impossible to play properly due to the camera rotation functions. It's to difficult to walk and pan the camera around and at the same time having to do both those things decreases the amount of screen space to where you can't see anything. In all honesty that's an issue I can't see being possible to fix either. Wish it worked out because I love this game but it's not for phones.
The old version of this game had gotten most of the bugs worked out, finally. It was very enjoyable to play, as well. Now it's back to regularly getting disconneced, extreme lag and rubber banding... There's no point in playing as a survivor, unless you like missing skill checks galore. Again. This shiny new version has inherited all of the issues from its predecessor. Fun multiplayer but bugs ruin the experience.
