Terrible app! I saw this app on a commercial and decided I wanted to give it a try but when I went online to create an account it was asking questions that there were no other options to answer. Like my GPS put me in salt lake and it said are you looking for a home in salt lake Yes? But it didn't give me the no option. Does that mean I can only search near my GPS location? What a waste of time I'm done and going to the competitor

Don't use them to sell! They will tell you your roof needs replacing without going up a latter or flying a drone. They will tell you your brand new HVAC and perfectly good water heater are needing to be replaced. They will charge you for cosmetic upgrades to replace perfectly good 2 yr old flooring. When you ask for pictures of the things they say are a problem, they refuse to provide them. EVERYTHING comes out of your quote. Kennels g my dogs to show my house is a better deal than this bs.

Tried getting a code but it kept saying something went wrong. Useless

3 WORDS: BAIT-AND-SWITCH Watch out for the phony inflated initial offers when you're trying to sell your house(bait). By the time they deduct their junk fees and 'hidden costs', you're down by at least 1/3 of the initial offer.(the big switch) Seems to be their standard operating procedure. Just check their Yelp reviews.

Can't even get past the initial screens to look at houses. Several screens have a "that's right" button, but no other buttons in the case that it's not right. I'm not interested in selling my home, so I'm stuck and can't get in. It's like they don't want me to buy a house. Edit: after three attempts of circling through I was able to get in the app. But the Lot Size filter doesn't work at all, and that's our most important search criteria.

Got app to do an open house, I now get bumbarded with BS emails everyday that I never asked for. I just wanted to look at a home. My home info is wrong but it is correct with the city and Redfin so not sure why you are missing a half bath. Almost everything in the app takes you to the web page, Fail. Why even have the app then? You are the Carvana of homes, this is not a compliment.

But my home during covid through the opendoor app, it was an stresless and cool experience. I was frist home buyer and opendoor helped us to buy our dearm home. Thank you!

Horrible design, buggy app. Sold houses still showing as available. Customer service tried to get us to view a house we never asked to see after the one we did want to see turned out had already accepted an offer. Asked us to see if the backdoor was unlocked at a different home when the app failed to initiate a tour. Not a good company, avoid if possible

My experience has been awful and we haven't even got to discussing price. It started with them calling me by the wrong name. Not a name linked to my email or one I entered. Just a random name. But hey, mistakes happen. I set up a meeting via Zoom. They failed to send me the link on time. They did not provide the meeting passcode and zoom would not let me join. I spent time uploading videos for them instead. Now the home assessment was cancelled without so much as a text or call. Not happy.

The app crashes regularly. The filter setting doesnt work all the time. I filtered out houses with an HOA, and was still shown houses with an HOA. These weren't houses listed with unknown fees, it provided the fees in the app, so it knew there was an association. Recently I cannot enter a home at all. When call the service number I was told that you need an agent with you to view, even for self tour homes. Now the app is pointless if you need an agent present to view the home.

When I signed up on computer, it offered me to do it with my Google account, I did. Now that I'm trying to use the app as well, it asks me to provide password and there is no option to log in with Google account like the web version. I never set a password, so don't have any. I also tried to set a password on web, so I can use it on the app to sign in, but it keeps asking me for current password to let me set a new password. Current password doesn't exist. What a loop of blockage!

Poor experience. Went to see a home listed by opendoor, they insisted there was a "keypad" to enter a code. No keypad. We stood outside for 30 minutes before tech support could help us (had to call them twice). They insisted there was a keypad, but nothing to be found. No wonder the listing has been sitting for so long! +2 stars because they were very friendly and understanding just incredibly slow and difficult.

The app is so broken, a lot of issues, a lot of places need optimization. For example, many times after i select one day for my tour, it suddenly jump to a different date. And the feed, it takes forever to load, and if i view something else then go back to the feed again, then i need to reload the feed, which is pretty annoying. Plz hire some solid engineers and QAs to do the work!

Used to have no problem with this app, then today, we tried to look at a house we were interested in, and the app kept hanging up on my id. Couldn't verify my driver license after several tries. It's a valid TX license, not expired. Kept telling me to call, but I can't hear well on the phone. So because the app wouldn't let me look at the house, too bad. Not going to try again because who needs this frustration.

The app in itself is your standard realtor app. Must admit, the Opendoor feature is very nice, however, not many properties in our area can take advantage of it. Also a fan of discarding properties. Finding difficulties in placing an offer as you must do so via the app which is very limited and does not allow for adjustments like seller consessions, etc. Also, was unable to add the cobuyer's info as the app would not accept any email address in the required 2nd email field.

The opendoor app used to display home information when you unlock, but now you need to jump through hoops to find out about the home. The bigger issue, however, is that the app now forces location data to always be available through underhanded means. I only gave you location data while using the app for a reason. If you have security reasons for needing it otherwise, make that clear, rather than forcing me to force close the app when it's been over an hour since I left the last home.

I give it 3 star until y'all revamp the app. It worked perfect listing all the open door homes . Then when you added the other homes for sale it gets confusing. I can no longer click on just the open door tab to see only those homes and it doesn't list them anymore. You have to been the neighborhood which is not good for people who may have never been to certain neighborhoods.

I was recommended by a friend to try this app in order to self-tour some houses and get to know the area before buying. So downloaded the app, checked my local areas, saved a bunch I could self-tour with my husband, and headed out for a drive. But guess what, the app completely failed. As I attempted to check for my favorites, it told me I wasn't logged in... So I tried to log in and it errored. Even when I did login, the app could not load anything. What a complete failure app.

Guest

tried signing in but every time it tried sending a code. it always have me an error message. I've heard these types of apps are terrible to but through due to the fact that you never just hear from a singular person and go around in circles trying to get everything done that needs to be fixed to make the house move in ready. Interesting concept but a realtor just can't be beat IMHO

I have used this app to view a few homes...ultimately, I have to say that it takes an incredibly long time to load and I have looked at homes on my laptop, left my home, made it to the neighborhood the homes are located in only to find that the inventory was not being reflected in the app. I have looked at the filters to make sure this was not the reason for the absence of properties. It is a very neat and innovative concept, but I am not to pleased with the overall user experience.
