Picsart AI Photo Editor, Video

This is a great app, it's an easy-to-understand photo editor that is great for quick edits. This is why it's all the more frustrating that this app will not let me into it anymore. When I open the app, it directs me to the create an account page, then to a personalize your experience page, and then to the main page where it then crashes. I've tried everything I know to do but I get the same response every time. It tries to load too many pages at once and crashes. I can only hope this gets fixed.

I gave this app another chance after the last review I did and I even started recommending it to friends and YouTube subscribers again, now there is a fun thing the app likes to do where if for example your editing a photo and your 30 mins into an edit like I was this morning - the app randomly closes, gives an error message, and you lose what you were working on. This is not a single device issue(I have tested it) and it is not a rare thing, every 3 edits. I can't in good conscious recommend.

Honestly the app is incredible, but my GOD does it take up way too much space. I downloaded it and almost instantly my phone was angrily telling me my storage was running out. I've had it before and had the same issue, so I guess I'll just keep it around only when I really feel like it. Plus, uninstalling got rid of all of my saved stickers.

Picsart used to be an exceptional app, but, recently, it has gone downhill. #1 is the 30GB of space its taking up, why? #2 it gets slower and slower as I progress through my projects until it crashes, which happened yesterday, it appears its being throttled and #3 the god awful ads! Why spoil a good thing? It's time for me to move on👋🏽

I've used every editing app and program available and by far, picsart is my favorite. It's so easy to use and still end up with outstanding results. The ONLY problem I have is that you can't work in layers so if you want to fix something, you have to undo everything you've done since that point to get back to that adjustment. It'd be dope if I could just pick a layer, make the adjustment and get back to editing instead of doing it all over again. Otherwise I love it!!!

Picsart is okay. It used to be my favorite editing app but lately they've only cared about money. I find it incredibly stupid that you have to pay to remove the background from a image very cleanly. Meanwhile for the cutout (which has the same purpose) that is free, but your image may not be cut out perfectly 100% the first time depending on what you edit. If you guys made remove background free, then that will be perfect.

Greed ruined the app. Was once the best app hands down then slthey started charging for new features. No problem, it was great without the new filters etc. They then started removing things from the free version and making you pay for them. It's a shell of what it once was. They're so greedy, they won't even charge you a 1 time fee for premium, it's a subscription based app now. I know use several apps to accomplish what this was good for.

I've used the app for years. The amount of filters they've taken away from free use is ridiculous. The fx filters used to be my favorite and there were plenty of the actual filters for free users. Now there's 6 fx filters, and 3 of them include a vignette, a sharpen, and a noise filter, all of which I can do easily on a different app. Even the simple ones are incredibly limited and it's glaringly obvious the free ones are not as pleasant to look at as the paid ones. It's a shame.

A good app that used to be great. Don't touch the free trial button, it's basically a scam. The cash is taken from your account before the trial is up (happened almost instantly for me), often the free version of the app throws up a pay wall when you try to save a photo. V annoyed about this as I used to love this app, but seems they're marketing it away from photo editing and towards being just an extension of Instagram filters that you pay a premium for. /Some/ useful tools, though.

There is new problem and this one is worse, when I accidentally bump the ad at the bottom and go back into the app it erases all of the progress I didn't save, I can't tell you how many times this has happened already and I'm starting to get extremely pissed if I have to redo my edit one more time. I don't know if this is a problem that can be fixed but I would appreciate it if it was.

Increasingly difficult to use for free. There are ads before or after every action, it seems. I just had to try to pick my own photo to edit four times before it actually let me, with ads in between. I'd pick my photo, then an ad would play, and nothing would happen after, rinse and repeat. Getting ready to drop this app for an easier to use one.

As a photoshop program on mobile, it offers plenty of options to use without having to pay, so a quick meme is easy enough without having to open my wallet. It still only gets two stars because, in the most obnoxious move possible, Picsart notifications actually minimize the app you're actively using just to get your attention better. There's no good reason for that. No other popular app does that. That's almost virus-like in behavior. Whoever was in charge of that decision, fire them.

First of all, I absolutely LOVE the PicsArt app & I've used it for years. It's great for making collages, adding captions, picture in picture, etc. Today, I clicked on a button I hadn't noticed before to see what it would do - the "Magic" section in the Effects area Lemme tell ya... Mind Blown!!! . There are still hundreds of options within the app that I haven't looked at & I only use the free version! If seriously do a commercial for this app. Love it!!

Please fix!!!... So I always buy Picsart premium because I think it's one of the best photo editing apps out right now... However I am in between bank accounts, as weird as that sounds and need to wait a week or so to get back up and running. I use Pics art everyday for various work tasks, but you cannot screenshot unless you pay for premium. This saves a s#it ton of time if you make a mistake halfway through. It is only a week I have to put up with this. But this is very annoying.

Hey Nicholas. Picsart will always offer a free app version, but we also offer premium features for Gold subscribers. Premium features are identified with a gold crown. To save your edit, make sure you're only using free features. The screenshot function is not available with certain features like Effects, Retouch, Remove, and more.

I have been using picsart for years, but the most recent update is very disappointing and has me looking for other options. They have done away with the free crop option (despite what I was told by support), and the 'remove' feature on the paid version is not even similar. I was actually in the middle of using the app, when it stopped letting me free crop the image. I hope they bring back this feature.

This is app is very simple and yet very affective. It has everything you need to edit a simple image into something completely different. I am a graphic design major, and I have used this app for my edits, and sometimes I found this app easier and smoother to use than Photoshop. Some things I'd change about it, however, is how after about 500 strokes on the paint mode, it starts getting laggy and crashes without saving your work.

Good but could be better. Don't even bother with the new AI generator. I just used it twice (having to pay for both) and not one of the 150 pictures looked anything like me. Even the eye color was off. I put in 22 pictures for it to work from. It should be included in the cost of subscription if it's just going to generate random features like that.

I used this app for years. Not anymore. All the options that were free in the older versions are now locked behind a paywall wall. For example if you want to use your downloaded custom fonts you have to subscribe for at least a month. Still I would recommend this app if you have no access to free photo editing softwares on pc. It still has some value, but the fun in free expression is limited.

I've had this app for many years. You have the option to use it for free with ads, or pay monthly or a yearly subscription. I've had both. You can edit, share, and save on either side paid or unpaid. The people who have said negative things about this app obviously doesn't realize the amount of editing you can do. No other app even comes close to PicsArt. There are lots of free stickers, backgrounds and lots more. Thank you PicsArt. Customer service is amazing too, if you have any problems.

I've loved this app for years. I very rarely do photo editing, but when I wanted to, it was fairly easy to use and straight forward... But now it requires a subscription to save any image you create, even using the free features. Totally not worth it. I'm sad I'll have to be finding a replacement app, but there's no way I'm paying just to add text to photos a couple times a month. So long Picsart - I'll miss you.
