App REVIEWS
It's good .but the video is kind of squeezed horizontally so not good for taking photos of people
Doesn't desqueeze in photo or video mode
It's a still and video camera app that de-squeezes the footage as you record. I like that. But you don't have much manual controls like ISO, F-stop, variable focus, etc.
You should have enabledresolutions that capture the full sensor 4:3 aspect ratio. As 4:3 with the anamorphic stretches nicely into 16:9 aspect ratio...
No option for front camera, no auto focus.
Not compatible with Galaxy S20 5g phone. The video camera mode tries to use the Galaxy's photo camera. Galaxy S20 phones have 4 seperate cameras on them. This app is stuck using the photo camera.
It's very buggy and useless
Works great for testing anamorphic adapters.
I don't have a Sirui lens, but wanted to play with this app with my Moment anamorphic. The app is pretty straightforward and easy to use. No complaints on the output it produced, other than a little jerkiness, but I wasn't using my gimbal. The biggest negative is the UI elements don't scale properly when switching between landscape and portrait, but they're still legible. And the app is free, so it's pretty hard to complain about that.
Great hardware - the VD-01 Anamorphic lens is as expected. But the app provides very low quality videos and photos. For videos, we need to use Filmic Pro and for photos, the native system app and copy the files on PC to desqueeze them in Photoshop.
how to exposure lock?
It's work on Pixel 3A XL
The latest update fixed my issues it opens great now I can change resolution. I'm excited to try out my lens as it's on its way in shipping!
I can't opening application on Pixel3 (Android 10)
Works fine as a Viewfinder (ie does the de-squeezing) but as soon as I press Record app crashes on my OnePlus 3T..
Worst app ever. Settings don't match, UI errors. Options that are non-existent. Many others cannot be selected/toggled.
Crashes everytime
It's nice as a freeware app but what about raw picture support and log video recording for that cinematic look.
The app isn't working with the Android 10 Beta 6. Just force closes.
