Spotify: Music and Podcasts

Been using this for years and I loved it. But this year the app is kinda glitchy on my OnePlus (Android 10) such as sometimes play bar not showing up on the app and playback not showing on notification page. Would be great if it's fixed! Update: I think it's fixed now, thank you! And love Blends feature as I like to mix music with friends. Social media music next maybe?

I love this app, been paying for years but a few downsides: *MILITARY* we go on deployment and have our music cancelled after 30 days so if you could add a 90 day payment or something to extend the timeout of the app for those who are without internet for extended periods of time that would be amazing. There's no "play next" option besides add to queue, so if you want to adjust you have to press like 4 more buttons when it could be added to the menu options. Device sharing doesn't work well.

Spotify is great but the one thing that bothers me is the fact that you cant check who likes your playlist. I'd like to be able to check who likes it. And also, I wish there was a feature where you could block certain people. I don't understand why there wouldn't be a block button on spotify. Also, there's a glitch when I put a heart on a song and it doesn't correspond. This confuses me and causes me to accidentally unlike songs.

Most of my music is from CDs but I like to listen to some songs I don't have. It's not very often so premium is not a cost-effective solution for me but I don't mind listening to ads to listen for free. That's why I tried Spotify on PC. And it was great so I gave it a shot on mobile. And it's terrible - forcing the user to listen to random songs before the actually selected plays is a joke. I don't mind listening 15-20 sec ad before. But a whole song I don't want? It's ridiculous...

I have Premium, Spotify is great, but the app itself is clunky, doesn't feel smooth to browse between menus and playlists, it's like having a 1 second delay on everything you do on the app. Also, on android, it somehow takes 5 seconds to open the app. App is okay, but could be vastly better. Overall, minus the clunkiness, the app is great. Still waiting for the heavily requested A-B loop feature.

Great tho I wish they would lay off the premium ads once and a while and make new ones rather than just a loop of ads. Very frustrating sometimes when I try to play a Playlist and plays one or two song then switches to 'suggested' songs. Then you can't get back without playing another Playlist then going back and skipping skipping bunch. Even then that fails sometimes. I'd like it if Spotify allowed me to listen to my music rather than just playing ads or their songs.

It's a nice service, and it has the music and podcasts I love, but recently, I would create a radio station or listen to a podcast and it randomly skips episodes and tracks. I can see the next song it's supposed to play, but it skips ahead to a random song (with shuffle OFF) and when I try to manually click on the next song, it doesn't play and it refreshes the whole radio station with different music. With podcasts, it will randomly jump to another unplayed episode. I can't find a way to fix it

Hate the auto play anytime my phone connects to a Bluetooth device. There's got to be a way to turn this off! After a day of not even opening the app, it still contects and auto plays in the car, or other Bluetooth device, and then I miss half of a podcast I was listening to because I didn't know it was playing. Terrible feature!

I love Spotify. However, there is now a new feature where other users can now comment on random music stations, songs, or podcasts (I'm not sure. it's random). I'm kind of disappointed in that. I DON'T WANT TO ALWAYS SEE OTHER PEOPLES THOUGHTS OR OPINIONS - Leave that to FaceBook. I don't even care that it's positive "reviews", or "feedback", or whatever the point is, it's just mehh.

I am a music lover and this app makes it so easy for me to listen to the music I love. Now I personally have Spotify premium which in my opinion is 100 times better than not having premium because you have no ads and as many skips as you want. But either way Spotify is easier to use and it makes it easy to connect with people like friends or just people who have the same music taste as you.

i love spotify. it's been my constant for years now but i never thought i would ever face issues with it, even after paying for premium. ever since i got premium for a year again, i have downloaded all my playlists for more tham 10 times now but still, they don't stay !!!!!! at all!! everytime the next day after downloading them, all the downloaded songs just disappear. even storage goes back to normal. please, please fix this. i do not want to cancel my subscription.

Bad syncing across devices. Everyt time I start music on my phone and want to move the playback to my computer (windows), it freaks out and stops playing on either devices. It doesn't even transfer over the playlist I was listening to onto the computer. So I attempt to go back to the phone, but playback fails. At this point I have to force close....losing the playlist I had going. Not great.

Spotify is the best music streaming app out there. Also a great podcast platform. The interface is clean and user-friendly, and the app offers an extensive library of songs, albums, and playlists to suit any musical taste. I love how easy it is to discover new artists and songs through the app's personalized recommendations and curated playlists. The sound quality is top-notch, and the ability to download songs and playlists for offline listening is a game-changer for road trips.

Spotify has been stealing money from me. I've been charged for premium for the last 3 months, but my account won't let me access any of the features I'm paying for, I'm stuck in "free mode." Stuck with ads, limited skips, and plays. I'm really upset bc I've been using spotify for a decade without issues, but out of nowhere, it stopped working.. but y'all will still take my money without an issue.. I even have the most recent update.. need this fixed ASAP! I need a refund or credit on my account!

I'm going to delete the app soon if it doesn't quit telling me about streaming on the same wifi with friends. I know I can do that, I don't need to be reminded every time I open the app. It is extremely frustrating to have that message come up. Especially when I hit the 'x' or 'got it' button and it takes me to the sharing screen, then backing out makes the 'stream with your friends on the same network" screen come back up.

Randomization has improved. Out of 3000 + in a playlist, I should never hear the same song. Oddly, I still do but it's not as bad. I know I have more than 5 genres in my liked songs, yet you only name 5. It was showing all of them, then suddenly just 5. Plus there was a moon icon to set a cut-off timer. The next day it was gone. So I'm learning you don't need to update for things to change in an app. Also, why can't I select more than one song at a time to add or remove?

Downgrading to 3 stars. My music abruptly stops after every second or third song and I'll then need to go back into the App to press play. I'd be jamming to one of the songs in my playlist when all of a sudden everything stops.It's extremely frustrating as I shouldn't have to remind the App that I'm still listening by pressing play after every other song. This is especially frustrating as it happens in both Online & Offline mode. I can't even listen to my sleep playlist in peace anymore. Fix It!

Love the collection of songs! Just that there are now so many irrelevant ads. Random ads start playing between a song or two continuously. Despite the message that I will be provided with 30 minutes of uninterrupted music, a new add pops up after 10 minutes. And not only that. Each ad which plays goes on for a minute or a half. It is becoming annoying but I hope that this is solved.

Will randomly stop playing at times and will lose connection despite being on an extremely high speed network. Connection to Alexa also needs to be improved, as that will often cut out too. That being said, the functionality the app offers is incredible and I literally don't think I can live without it. The UI is easy to navigate, it's pretty fast, my only complaints being the things I mentioned at the start. Would still highly recommend as the issues don't really occur that often.

It is an awsome app to use when you want to listen to music, podcasts, audio books when your device is turned off or your playing on another app while listening one of the above. I do however have a problem with navigation and organization. I cant listen to my song with a click I have to play the first songs in the playlist first.
