I'm with many others... always used to receive pictures instantly. Then this year both camera started having same issue at the same time. 100% signal and I receive pictures from 5 hours later to 5 days later. Not a phone app issue because they do not show up on the website either. Something changed this year and many users are obviously having the same issue. Might be time to move to something else.

Works intermittently, which really stinks after the amount of money you have to invest into committing to the brand and buying a few of their cameras. Just watched 3 deer in front of my camera and it never was set off, on one that I have purchased unlimited photos on, super cool.

When the app works it works well but unfortunately, that is not always the case. We have 8 cameras with two unlimited. We are about to test other options because SpyPoint just quits working, I've dealt with help desk, they are very nice but per their recommendations I update the software constantly, they work for a couple days and quit again. Any recommendations would be helpful.

Ineffective customer support. Buggy app with annoying ads. Low quality day pics. Bad night photo quality. Unreliable cameras. 75% of solar cams leak, fail within 6 months. 11 of 15 cams dead within 2 years. Rechargeable Batteries (sold separately) work great, last ~3 years. Very helpful function to schedule photo times is working again.

I wish there was an undo button for the HD photo request (When I click it by accident, if I click it a second time, it tells me that the HD is pending. would be really nice if it gave me the option at that point to cancel it). it would all be very nice if there was a guest account option so that friends with spy points could give me the ability to see their photos too. Other than that, the app is fairly reliable and I've been using SpyPoint cameras for almost 2 years without any major issues.

However, for security reasons, access is linked to the account holding the application. However, you have the possibility of sharing your images, whether from an Android or iOS device. App was working normally for 3 years untill recently. Have latest firmware installed on camera and up to date app but transmission only happens every few days with settings set for each detection and daily sync set for 9 am. Full signal strength and 70% or more battery life. Have tried turning camera off and back on and switch sd card out and still will not send pics but every few days. I've been asked to contact spypoint support chat but unable to get help

Currently having an issue where I can't select the different cameras I have. Gives me an error screen. Also after replacing the batteries in all of my cameras, two of them stopped working after a few days. I can't see the camera status through the app at all.

I love the app and have several cameras and my brother does as well. The only issue we have is the same as one listed below. When we try to share a picture through text message on the android phone, the same picture is always sent. If I clear the cache on the spypoint app and messages app, close and restart both, I am able to send one picture and have to do it again next time. Email share works fine.

App works pretty smoothly. However, after sharing a single pic with a friend by text message using its share feature, the app is unable to share by text any other image. The app keeps populating a new text message with the previously transmitted image. Uploading the new image to Google drive then sharing it from there is a workaround but is not ideal. UPDATE: it has been over 2 months, and the app still populates texts with an old image and not the current one you were trying to select :(

The app is good. I wish you could set a custom notifications but i dont see that option yet. Also the new splash screens need to be shorter or have the option to close them or link to a web page option. I own a out 8 of the cameras and overall the do well. I have had some issues with the power switches of the micros but hopefully the LM2 will change that.

photo quality and cqm settings of the cameras are good but they need to be upgraded far too often by removing the memory card and writing the latest software to if from their website while installed on your computer. The adds before you view your pics are also annoying, and the price per month could definitely be lower. I'm looking into other 4G capable brands...

I totally agree with many other ratings; app no longer receives pictures even with a strong cell signal. My cameras are set to send a test picture at check-in but never receive anything. Sometimes, pictures show up without notification, hours or a day later. Used to take 30 seconds when I would walk in front of a camera till I got the pictures on the app. Don't know what bugs and fixes were supposed to be taken care of in the last update? Seems to have created more than fixed.

still not quite sure, still having trouble understanding the "how" this works, because of their names for the settings, (or the layout of the names that are given for you to choose for their settings), they need to be more straight forward, or clearer; (for example), if I want it to take 3 pictures a day of whatever shows up in front of the camera, then I should be able to set that, but it doesn't give you an option for pictures at all...

Getting a tiny bit better but still frustrating. If I pay for a monthly service. The ad when opening the app shoild go away to a random splash screen not a sales ad. I think ads are annoying. For 2024 I will probably be selling these cams and buying a better brand. The quality is still sub par. Even the "hd" photos suck BAD. No noticeable difference. My buddies cam is not spypoint and it had WAY better quality. This is my last year unless drastic changes take place. You devs don't listen.

The camera is not sending the pictures to my phone. I literally just had 4 does 10 to 15 feet away from it and yet to get any notification. It's been 20 minutes. 90% signal, 78% battery. I turned it off and back on this evening to reset the signal, but nothing is coming through like it used to. Pictures used to come through in no more than 3 minutes. Why is this happening now?????

Also check if your plan has not reached its limit the camera continues to take images but does not send if the plan is over this seems to need a complete troubleshoot. Bugs , glitches, customer service won't help after paying $99 for help. ( after their reply ) I contacted customer support. Had them call back . The hour wait time turned into 6 hours later. The English optional Gentleman tried for 30 minutes off his help sheet, but nothing he was trained to do would make my app work correctly. We tried a different phone, deleting and reloading, etc.. Still can't request pictures or get notifications from the pictures.

I'm being notified of pictures and they are being counted on the camera as far as pictures taken. However the actual picture does not show up and that goes for all my cameras. Problem solved after Un-installing and re-installing. My pictures were still showing up on the website just not over the app.

I like the 4 micro LTEs I purchase but there are a few things that could use some attention such as the camera delay only going from 10 seconds right to one minute..there should be at least a 30 second option in there. The sensitivity of the brightness is also a small issue ive notice the closer the subject in the photo is the brightness becomes.There are a couple of other small things that aren't coming to mind at this moment but over all I am pretty satisfied with my purchase of you product.

Hi, The motion delay option exceeds 30 seconds,depending on the camera model, and can go up to 1hr. The sensitivity is influenced by its installation conditions; we recommend mounting the camera 30 feet 9.14 m from the trigger point and 3,4 feet (1 m) from the ground, with nothing in the immediate foreground that could influence the camera’s focus.
[LM2-NW] Motion detection always a second or two too late, if it triggers at all. Sometimes it does trigger but never sends pics to the app. This is also on "high" sensitivity. Thought I would go with a cell cam for security because it's pretty silly to rely on wifi that can be knocked out by flipping a breaker or an outage but this is not it.

Among the camera options, you can control the delay option for image taking as well as for image sensitivity.The settings will be effective once the camera communicates with the network, and precisely this connection to the signal will unfluence image transfer, depending on whether it has good or bad coverage?
Menu is not responsive when I try to select cameras or anything related to them. Everything else works smoothly until I'm back on the camera list and it's nonresponsive again. It worked great on my other phone but the new phone "which is a better phone" the app is very very glitchy and does not work. I even uninstalled and reinstalled the app. Very frustrating
