App REVIEWS

Anne

I want to get the notes I have purchased in paper form on my phone to make holiday travel easier! Seems downloading the app is not sufficient.
----------
Thanks for your review Anne. I'm sorry that your notes weren't free for you. At the moment, the App provides an alternative to the paper copy of Explore rather than a supplement.

Justin

Coming from another top app for devotions in the marketplace, I found this app to be less flashy. However, the content is deeper, more thought provoking, relevant, and biblically conservative. The publishers seem strong in their faith and the monthly devotionals are fairly priced (less than a cup of coffee). Two quick critiques: the app interface feels a bit dated, and it would be great to have other Bible translations and the ability to share Scripture easily from the Bible viewer.

Steve

Literally can not use the app. Open app, click "link account." Put my email in, get sent an email with a link, click link, it tells me everything is linked, but nothing happens! Spent a lot of time trying to use this app but it is literally unusable, can't access content I've paid for.
----------
Dear Steve, sorry to hear you're having trouble with the app. We're working on resolving your issue. If possible, we'd like to get a bit more information from you to help us understand the problem better. Would you be happy to give us your email address for this purpose? If so, please email customer services: cs@thegoodbook.co.uk .Thanks

Explore notes are great. However, this is just a digital version of what I already have but I have buy again in order to use this. It is a shame that you cannot use this in conjunction with physical purchases. Also, the promotional video gives the impression that this is full of free studies. In reality, almost every study has a price. This could be so good to give as a resource for new Christians and those who are seeking. Yes charge, but please consider more free helpful material too. Thank you for listening.

Rhonda

Two little things for free. Then you pay for everything else. Each book of the Bible is $1.99 each. That's ridiculous. Expensive.
----------
Hi Rhonda, Thanks for taking the time to post a review. Sorry that you think the app is too expensive. Sadly we're not a charity and we don't exist on donations, so we need to charge a fair price for our notes so that we can continue to provide biblical-based resources long-term to the Church. Thanks for the feedback though. Tom.

Femi

The app complain of stopped working oftentimes.

Marion

Great commentary, easy to understand but makes you think. Really useful direct links to bible verses referred to in the text.

martin

Have recently had problems with the app. Have often had to redownload as pages will not load. Content is variable , in recent times its felt like wading through treacle rather than being built up by the studies I feel flattened. After many years I'm going to have a break and try a different set of notes .

Leo

Superb study of the Word

Alice

I really like explore but some annoying bugs/ settings like how in the monthly bible notes, it always reverts to the current date rather than to the study you read last. Also after uninstalling and reinstalling the app my library is emptied.

Guest

I love this app. The material is in depth and prompts me to think deeper than the surface. Just two things about the app though, please add the highlight and note-making function. That'd make the app even better! Overall, it's a great app and I'd recommend it to anyone

Glory be to God.

ive been using explore for years. it is clear and short enough to be realistic to achieve Bible reading regularly. it is always theologically accurate. And I really love the fact that it gives me questions it pushes me back to the text to make sure I read it carefully often picking up things I've missed. ita good having a brief explanation if you happen to be finding it hard to understand what the passenge is saying and then allows you to apply it and pray. i now only recommend explore.

Guest

This is the best devional I have ever read! And I like that, unlike the subscription, I can choose what book of the Bible I study. The first devotional is free, the rest are very inexpensive. $1- $3. Much cheaper than most Bible studies. I highly recommend this study - great, doctrinally sound writers. It will help you grow in your understanding of God's Word!

Guest

Challenging, encouraging, pushing, sanctifying ..the devotionals really help to dive deeper in to scripture. So there is no complaint on the side of the material - keep going, there are already enough make-you-feel good devotionals. The app is kept simple, only one feature I miss: Please let me highlight the text, it's the main reason I prefer the paper version.

Guest

This is a great app. I find the Explore notes really helpful and the way the app is set up with the readings integrated is great, especially if on the move, away from home or with small children around!

Guest

It should be free ..help people get into Gods word for free or create a soft version..other then that I love this app

Guest

Great way to start the day, to grow in faith and understanding of the eternal God:Father, Son,and Holy Spirit.

Guest

Excellent bible notes handily on my phone. What's not to love!

Guest

It was working great until the Buy screen isn't loading for me. The spinner seems to be spinning forever and nothing is shown. I can't buy new resources now.
