Download it just to find out there's a 30 day trial, but they expect you to purchase the apo. Have to buy the app to use it is not the same as "in app purchases" I immediately uninstalled. Didn’t even try it so I can't say if or how it works. I'll find another app.
----------
We offer a 30-day free trial for users to experience the app before subscribing. I'm loving it so far, almost all the drugs that we use in my country are on file. A few are missing but I think it's more to do with the spelling than the drug being absent. I suggest that it should the app could give alternate drugs that are similar in spelling to work with, that would make it perfect for now.

jessica

The app itself has been amazing. I use it regularly at work and have been renewing my subscription annually in order to have all the latest info without having to purchase the book. I have bought a new phone however, and now it will not restore my purchase or allow me to sign in. I am seeing that many people have had this same problem. I also wish I had known that you can get the app at a discounted rate when you have purchased a hard copy of the book, I own two of them and would have used that
----------
Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention. We apologize for any inconvenience you may have experienced while using our app. Our team has followed up with you via email, and we would be happy to help resolve the issue as soon as possible. Please contact our support team at your earliest convenience, so we can assist you further.

I downloaded this for the trial. It had no entry for lercanidipine, which is not available in the US. I immediately uninstalled and am stunned that I have charged AUD 65 at the end of the trial period. I demand an immediate refund. Australian consumer law applies!
----------
Hello. While in-app subscriptions are set to automatically renew, you can turn off the auto-renewal feature within the PlayStore at any time during the trial period to avoid being charged. Please contact our Support team at your convenience so they can assist you. Email: support@unboundmedicine.com, Phone: 610-627-9090 or Live Chat via our website.

I have NOT had any technical issues on Android phone. The drug info is well organized and fast to read. Updated no problem. Update: no techincal issues! It is fast and concise. Gives me the information I need quickly and easy to locate. I found the new Drug Guide for me. It is even better than the now obsolete Pharmacopeia.

Thank you for your review! We appreciate your input and will be sure to pass your comment along to our development team.

The app worked fine on my old phone but once I got a replacement all of a sudden it doesn't recognize my email anymore and says I don't have an account. My Google subscriptions show it renews October 2022 and is still active. Won't let me reset my password at all because apparently I have no account.

I love this app.... when I am able to log in. Once you are logged in it remembers you and I have zero issues. If I happen to be kicked off or logged out/change my phone it is insanely difficult to log back in.

I paid the one year subscription for this app because I like the content and how it is displayed. However, I recently switched to iphone from android and am no longer able to use the app I paid for. I can download the app and pay for the subscription AGAIN using a new account through apple but, can not use the one I just paid for less than a month ago. I am infuriated that I am unable to use something I paid for. Had I known this, I would have just bought the book for the same price online.
----------
Hello, and we are sorry for the frustration. We are not able to locate your account based on the info we have here in your comment. I forgot to turn the auto-renewal of their subscription off, since things have been so busy at the hospital. I attempted to cancel and get a refund the day of renewal (today), and their subscription goes against the Google store's refund policy. Reached out to them, and they send you back to Google. This is very scummy and terrible customer service. I want this canceled and refunded. There should also be a remindee email, so this does not happen.
----------
Hi Mr. Emerson, As discussed with our Tech Support team, once the 30-day free trial has expired, all sales are final. Users have 30 days to turn off auto-renewal and/or cancel their subscription before renewal. We inform users of our policy within the Google Play Store so that they are aware before purchasing. We do apologize for any inconvenience.

Ky

I found this app helpful during nursing school and while working as a nurse but as other users have reported, you can not access the app after switching phones and customer service has not helped to resolve the situation. Very unfortunate. Edit: I am still being charged for a "subscription" but still can not access my account from my new device. Customer service will not help me despite multiple attempts to reach out. Do not spend your money on this app if you don't have to.
----------
Update 4/7: Please check your email for a message from our Support team. They have sent instructions on how to cancel your subscription. If you need further assistance, please call our Support number at: 610-627-9090. Thank you.

Kenneth

Much more thorough than other apps, much clearer than the physician's desk reference. I am a home care nurse and this is a very valuable tool. Especially side effects and interactions. Much more reliable than Google. Highly recommended.
----------
Thank you for your kind review. Our goal is to ensure that our users have rapid access to accurate and up-to-date content from reliable sources. The content of our Davis's Drug Guide web and mobile app is provided to us by the publisher, F.A. Davis, and we do not alter that content in any way.

Carrie

Have had this app for years. I changed phones and like others mention cannot access the app on the new phone. Customer service is a joke and do not assist with resolution. Time to switch vendors for this guide.

Tasha

Since renewing my subscription I have had nothing but problems! I am able to use it for a couple hours but once i log out or exit the mobile app, I have to uninstall and then reinstall which is frustrating. Also I can not log into the full site on my laptop.

We're sorry to hear you're having troubles with the app and logging on to the full site. We'd be happy to take a look into this for you, please contact us at support@unboundmedicine.com. Thank you. We hope to hear from you soon.

Very functional for nursing students as well as in field ( on the job). It separates content per nursing process. Includes calculators. I love it.
----------
Thanks for your review! We'll keep working to incorporate more calculators and other useful features.

Guest

Purchased the physical book, then purchased electronic access and I still have to pay for the app???? No! That seems like a rip off. App may work perfectly but charging your customers your access the same information in different formats just seems excessive.
----------
Unbound Medicine offers a complimentary one year subscription to Davis's Drug Guide Online with the purchase of the printed manual. Users with a registered Davis's Drug Guide Online account may include web access at a discounted rate.

Guest

I bought this app back in 2012 while I. Nursing school... It was the same price as the physical book I bought. However, I used this app almost everyday and I never thought twice about basically buying the "book" twice. I used the app on my phone for years and still continue to utilize it often. Why on Earth has this app become a yearly subscription at the same price?! Why do I have to continue to pay the same price as the book every year now, will find something comparable now.
----------
Thank you for your review. Davis's Drug Guide is a subscription-based product because it is updated more frequently than the book. While a new edition of the book is released every 2 years, the subscription-based app is updated 4 times a year. Also, we've added tools such as audio pronunciations & calculators which are not available in the book.

Guest

After upgrade my app would not load any medications. When using the search function I was told "no results". Unistalled and reinstalled on my Snote8 with no fix. Contacted support who "could not find my account". Very dissatisfied.
