NASA Science Investigations Game DESCRIPTION

Welcome to NASA’s International Space Station! As the newest member of the ISS crew, it’s your task to familiarize yourself with the station, and help out with the plant growth experiment.

Trying to move in zero-g will be different than what you are used to on Earth! Spend some time flying and flipping around the station without gravity to assist you.

Once you’ve become comfortable moving in zero-g, find astronaut Naomi and assist her in cutting-edge research: how micro-gravity effects plant growth in space. What kind of light do they need? How do you water plants without gravity? Why is growing food important in space?

Collect mission patches for completing tasks and for making discoveries. Can you grow enough plants to create a salad for the astronauts to eat? Launch time!

The app also contains information on plant growth experiments, for use in the claoom and at home.

Hazards and Population Mapper (HazPop) is a free app that enables users to easily display recent natural hazard data in relationship to population, major infrastructure, and satellite imagery. Hazards data include the location of active fires over the past 48 hours; earthquake alerts over the past seven days; and yesterday′s air pollution data measured from space. The app shows the location of major dams and nuclear power plants and provides more detailed information and imagery for these facilities where available. By drawing a circle around a point or area of interest on the map, users can obtain an estimate of the total population and land area enclosed within.Developed by the NASA Socioeconomic Data and Applications Center (SEDAC) operated by the Center for International Earth Science Information Network (CIESIN) at Columbia University, HazPop combines data and map layers from various sources including NASA's Global Imagery Browse Services (GIBS), the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), and others using a variety of open Web mapping services. This is awesome game. The graphics quality is quite good. Touch responses, gameplay and controls are also standard. Moreover, it might be very useful to enhance your knowledge about ISS as it helps you explore the station and virtually travel through it, and that's really FUN.

We do have a new game called NASA Science: Humans in Space. This one has more experiments and all of the modules. We hope you download it and enjoy it.

After You finish the task given, you have nothing to do except wandering around the station. i propose, you should add more mission like conducting EVA,repairing things,or a final mission like boarding into soyuz return vehicle and land on earth again. and,you should gave the player EVA such conducting experiment in kibo japanese lab. and why the ISS module displayed is only the pressurized, habitable section, please add it all. Please Read This,Thankyou

Buggy app. Just displays a purple screen with word only menu. These don't always allow you to click them and there are no apparent graphics. Very poor on the Samsung Galaxy A6

I'm sorry it's not working on your device, some devices have problems with a lack of memory. You may try restarting your device and trying again.
