What is intermittent fasting?

Intermittent fasting (IF) is a meal timing schedule that switches between periods of eating and fasting. It is an easy and safe way to lose belly fat and live a healthy life. During IF, your body can enter ketosis, which enables your body to burn fat. When you are in your fasting window, you’d better eat food with zero calories. During the eating window, you don’t need a calorie counter, meal plan, or food tracker anymore. There are many fasting benefits, such as slowing down the aging process and helping you lose weight.

There are many types of fasting diet plans for beginners and experienced men and women. The most common intermittent fasting schedules or methods are 16:8, 5:2, and water fasting. If you choose the 16-hour fasting intervals, you will fast for 16 hours.

Just installed the app, the widgets are broken. They take up too much space on the home screen for no reason.

The app is quite helpful...


Terrible. SO much fluffy information. The key is to be able to elongate my fasting time. Instead it locks you into one of the protocols like 16:8 or 20:4 etc and won't allow you to change the ending time. I do extended fasting and this is not for that purpose.
Hi Julia, you can change your fasting schedule by following these steps: Tap the upper right corner of the Journey page>Tap "Change a Plan" in the upper right corner>Choose a fasting plan> Tap "Start at" to edit your fasting start time and end time. If you do extended fasting, the app still logs it after you tap "End Fasting". Hope this helps!


I shouldn't have to go through the coaching process JUST to use the app. I just want to track my fasting. But this won't even let me in without giving the "coach" information about myself, starting with "what should I call you?" How about this? Call me uninstalling this app

Fake offer of free membership being a beta tester. Widget doesn't work, default notifications are crazy. Every hour it was going off by default but doesn't work well enough to send a notification at the start/end of fasting period. The app is an absolute POS! Just set a repeatable alarm on your phone for fasting start/stop times and it'll not only work but function 1000x better than this app
