5 star app, BUT... Last update "fixed sync issues for some users"... sync still doesn't work for me. One way I can get it to sync is to uninstall app and reinstall. Problem with that... entries deleted on one device (phone) are not removed from the other (tablet). I'm subscribed to have sync, but still having to save data file on phone and email it to myself, then restore on tablet in order to get correct info on both.

Jeff

STOPPED ENTERING DATA! Apparently, this app only allows a fixed number of entries. It is mostly convenient to enter data, but I'd like the ability to change the defaults in Settings. For instance, my smart watch measures blood pressure on my left wrist, but the default is "right arm". For another, the readings I take in the morning up to early afternoon are all 'Before breakfast', but the app tries to be helpful by suggesting an event label based on an average person's schedule.

Scott

Best app for tracking diabetes stats! 3/2022: Unfortunately there are too many issues to keep the 5-star rating. First, when I got my new phone, none of my history came over to the new phone. Also, it never synced between devices (readings entered on my old phone never came across to the new phone and vice-versa). Secondly, there's no web version of the app to use from my desktop when the phone isn't available.

Djade

Very easy to use but doesn't have a diet and food section. There is a section where You can make a dated note about what foods were eaten and when, and you can add a note to BS readings, but as far a I can tell the only thing charted is the glucose reading. It does give averages, weekly, monthly, 3 months - which helps to see trends. I will continue to use it, but looking for a more comprehensive app.

John

This is the 4th app I've tested of the 4 top rated ones I found. This is by far the best! I used to write software & manage computer departments for a living. So I'm not a typical user. The UI (user Interface) is clean, understandable, and so far glitch free. The app has a good track record in longevity, with all features seeming to work without having to subscribe to anything yet! Previous ones had to pay thru the nose, which doesn't allow thorough testing before commitment. Hats off to them!

John

This app has a few nice features but lacks common sense. For example, the food entries require that you measure the weight of everything you eat. I'm not going to weigh my eggs or a banana. It won't let you just write "2 eggs and a banana". Also, in several places the notes you enter overlap the blood(y) icons. Also, the spacing of the notes makes it look like the note goes with the previous entry rather than the one it goes with. Good for a freebie, but overall kinda frustrating.

coldstar..

I really like the app, but I found a couple of things that are an issue for me.. First is the graph in the statistics, it only shows a couple of weeks. My last app you could change the settings to show up to 3 months. Which makes it easier to view changing trends. Secondly is they sync feature you can purchase. I do a lot on my phone and tablet, so syncing would be a huge advantage. Unfortunately it will not work, so I deleted it from my tablet.

Blood glucose tracker is convenient for what it does - recording blood glucose levels over time. You can also record things like weight, blood pressure, A1C, food intake, etc. For blood glucose levels it has an additional graphical chart display. There are two features that would make it more convenient: (1) ability to change the relative positions of the columns being recorded so I don't have to scroll (2) additional charts for weight etc.

Lou

New diabetic, needed to closely monitor my glucose levels. The graph of results is an awesome feature that gives a straightforward snapshot of trends. Appreciate being able to hide unneeded columns. Only complaint to date: I have subscribed for the synch feature, have correctly configured both devices (enabled) yet nothing has happened. Fix it, get that last star ⭐ An email to tech support has had no response...😠

kari

Great app! It could be even better with a few small changes. I'd like to set target ranges so that the blood sugar levels turn red when above a certain number, yellow when in a range that's close to my ideal target, & green of course when ideal. When looking at the list of BS readings, the spacing is weird for entries where I've entered a note- it looks like the note belongs to the previous entry. I'd also love to be able to add a note that's not tied to a BS reading.

Bill

Nice clean interface on a basic record keeping app for diabetics. Not a lot of bells and whistles. I use it for my cat's glucose and insulin. I particularly like the quick entry option by pressing + at the main menu to add a reading. It could use some improvement in terms of managing the list of medications, though. We only use one, but I still have to select it from the list each time. There's probably a file I can edit or something, but it's not spelled out anywhere I've seen.

Karen

Very easy to use, that's main need. Can be exported but I'd prefer it to be able to be saved or backed up to my Dropbox acct. Notes aspect is confusing since it's not actually separate from the actual things you're tracking. That should be a note feature that doesn't get attached to anything. Also the food is only in grams which I'm not going to use. I will be trying other apps, but if my few needs here we're there, I'd have picked my app by now.

Laura

Just set up and love the font size and ease of use. I like that you can edit for corrections when I forgot to change a field. Pill reminder needs to chime until uou dismiss it. On the notes tab, it would be nice to record the date/time at the beginning, not the end...but those are personal choices for ascetic only not functionality. Recommending this app To others. I hope the printing function includes BP entries too. I haven't tried it yet.

Will

Does what I need it to do for tracking my Glucose levels. Nice clean and easy to use interface. I would ask that you can customize the selectable options of when you are taking your test. Currently there are more options than I need. I only need Fasting and Post meal. Making the selections customized would allow me to define what I need to see. Thank you developer!

Great BS tracker! It does just what you need it for and can be modified to track the items you want. It does not track all the "extras" that get in the way, like Glucose Buddy which eats up your phone battery. It's easy to view just your BS data without steps and calories eaten in the way since you can scroll to a page of just those readings. I would like to have the ability to print out BS readings in a table form showing in columns what your readings are for each event, before breakfast etc.

This is my favorite device-agnostic app for Blood Glucose monitoring! I've used it since Sept. 2016. It does what it does well. There are some additional features I'd like to see though. I'd like to be able to set the time parameters in the graph, for example. Like last two weeks, or last two months, Also I'd love to be able to export the graph as a jpg or export the data as a csv. My biggest complaint about it is that they released a new version at one point that did not support their backups from the previous version. I got a new phone, installed the latest version of the app, and tried to restore my data from my backup. No dice. Their support was less than helpful as well. They responded but basically said "tough, start over." I had several years of data in those backups, so I attempted the conversion myself, and was successful. If anyone needs their old backups converted to the current format, just let me know and I will assist. Just link to my review.

The app is very easy to use (intuitive). It makes keeping a record of my medical statistics very easy. Two suggestions for improvement, however: (1) add pulse rate to blood pressure readings and (2) let the app remember which arm I take my blood pressure from between readings so I don't have to reselect it with each reading. Otherwise, the app is everything I was looking for.

I tested six different Diabetes apps after getting diagnosed with gestational diabetes. This one is hands-down the best in my opinion. It's very comprehensive yet simple to use, lets you customize it to suit your needs, and best of all (and this is a big one for me) it's ad-free. No annoying persistent on screen ads or the even more annoying ads that pop up and take over your whole screen when you push the back button. Thank you so much for making this great app!

Guest

The app is a convenient way to record and track data that's useful for medical appointments as well as self-monitoring chronic conditions such as hyperglycemia and hypertension. It's great not to be bombarded with ads while using the app. Thank you for that. I think it would be useful if the app oncluded an option to graph other info instead of just glucose readings. Maybe graphs for A1c and weight could be options.

Guest

The app is pretty good. I would change two things. In the spot for averages it only shows the before meals and total event averages. I would prefer it to show the average for each piece of information you input. It'd be nice to see my fasting average at a glance. And I only test after meals so I'd like to see those averages too. The second thing I would change is in the drop down where you pick which meal/event you are recording your number for, fasting is at the bottom. It should be first.
