This is one of the most simple and complete apps for basic network testing I've run across. IP scans to find active IPs on a subnet. Port scans, types of devices attached to the network, and on and on. If you need something that's several steps down from a vulnerability scanner, but need to find devices on your network, this is it.

arthur

Easy to use and gives useful data. Found it handy when my router's 5ghz function "didn't" following a firmware update. 😨 A lot more helpful than the router's manufacturer actually. 🤔 I could say "there was a failure to communicate!"🤪 Now Feb 2022. Router got in a twist. Got it running again but subtle differences mean lots of things don't work any more. Come back Win 7 you were so much better for this than current. Yes I have reloaded old .cfg. Where do I go from here?

Overall does what it is supposed to. Cool to see the hidden network that jumps channels with me. I installed this as my home network has been tampered with several times. Only thing that would be nice is if there was a tutorial for the ping, ip search, ect area. Noob users could benefit from that, especially in a world where your information is so easily accessed by others.

Ben

Good interface, to the point, no nonsense. Useful to a network professional looking for quick information. I initially rated this a 4, but everytime I look in it I find something else useful, like the wifi signal section. I was tweaking my wireless access point, I don't like to reach out further than I need, and it did very very well, in real time. Good job.

Anthony

Best Network Scanner and More. I use this app all the time for work. It picks up hosts that others do not, and is good for automatically scanning networks whether or not they are /24, which is where some other apps have struggles in my experience. I love that it shows hosts with a couple common port statuses.

Lurp

Does exactly what it claims. I like the clean and simple UI. Curious users with little to no prior knowledge of network connections aren't going to unintentionally mess with things they don't fully understand. +App takes minimal hard drive space +Doesn't sneakily run in the background Ram or Network/Data usage. I've tried many similar apps and like to constantly monitor their usage analytics. I think I've had this installed for at least a year total now with zero red flags or complaints.

Hal

Shows the 2.4 Ghz and 5 Ghz spectrum signals visually and in tabular format. Good to identify existing wifi networks and potential RF interference in network configuration. Easy to use without needing a manual if you experiment with all the buttons, although button icons are not intuitive. Great for live tracking of signal activity and relative signal strength.

Manuel

This app is real good to figure out what's going on what your connection such as cell phone data and Wi-Fi data. however this version of the app has some things that provision doesn't have. I recently went to check the price tag for the pro version and the price is real affordable, one of the one of the new features in the pro version is they, can test how fast your upload and download speeds are so you don't have to download another app to figure that out.

Brian

The channel list/graph are extremely helpful, and they have no trouble updating frequently to show me what's really going on. Ads are unobtrusive, but I'm buying the Pro version because Jiri has earned my support. This app is exactly what I want in a tool: its simple and it works, letting me focus on the task at hand.

John

Awesome app for network admins. Helps identify channels and frequencies. I haven't delved into all of the features yet, but it seems to provide extensive information regarding wireless networks, details DNS and what not. Also provides information regarding cellular connections. App also will display surrounding networks, their SSIDs, channels and signal levels to assist in choosing the appropriate wireless channel in congested areas or when designing WLANs for customers. It's really handy.

onsite

I have been using this app on and off for awhile. Easy to use, and you learn about networking. Troubleshoot your network using: *Cell/APN info *Subnet info *Simple port scanning *Copy info received to clipboard. *On WiFi info tab swipe left for signal graph. *DNS/Whois info Route info. You get all this in the free version and I have not had any ads block the view. In fact, I hardly see any ads at all. Not to shabby 😀. Special thanks to the author ❤️ for a complete networking app. ~ Sys Admin

Andrew

Fast, streamlined, accurate, and the ads are minimal/infrequent. This has better accuracy and more reliable detection of devices than the Linksys router the LAN actually runs through. I deleted FING Tools and use this app exclusively for LAN checks on my non-rooted Android. One note: I've never had the "WHOIS" function return any results for hosts on my LAN (even with IVP6) but I may be missing something.

John

This is a great app for evaluating and debugging Wi-Fi networks in the home or office. It has a great user interface and performs useful tasks such as scanning the network so you can see who's logged on to the Wi-Fi network. Supports both 5 gigahertz and 2.4 gigahertz Wi-Fi networks. Shows Channel use and also indicates what sort of encryption is being employed. A great app!

Mike

Great app for a quick stationary glance, but it does not update real-time, just resamples frequently, so you can't walk around a building watching the signal change, looking for dead spots. As I recall, the old version (2014?) reacted real-time, or perhaps the sampling frequency was just much faster. Whatever, it's still the best Android solution I've found.

Darren

I have found this app to be very helpful! Easy to use interface. This app has so much to offer you in discovery of any Network. Today, the hotel client that I am on site for said they are having connection issues in the 2nd floor with WiFi. I was able to show them the signal strengths and what WiFi was available. Thanks for making my job easier to communicate issues with our clients!

I consider it the most important app I have. I've tried many networking apps and this app wins hands down! Has the tools most seek on very easy to use and read interface! It's always spot on with information about your network! If you'd like to know who or what is on your network, this is the app! It has picked up on connections that other apps failed to do and I've never experienced a false reading! Hats off to the developer, I appreciate this app!

Steven

Nice interface. Doesn't show updated WiFi channel assignments when I make changes on my WiFi router. I was using the app to select a less congested wireless channel. After making the adjustment on my router, the changes are not reflected in the App's WiFi signal channel page. You need to fix this problem.

Doug

Very well done app and interface. Great functionality for free version. Pro features are listed for paid version (such as naming capability). After having the free version for awhile and finding it very useful, will now go to paid version. Would like to see popup details or definitions when tapping flags or certain other displayed info rather than going into help or always jumping to other menu items ... Would be a great timesaver for certain investigations.

A good app for getting Wifi and Cellular connexion information. Especially about UP addresses and SMS servers for cellular signals. If you are using a ѴРИ or encrypted communications this app is very useful for helping to determine if your getting leaks. I also like the feature of determining if your cellular service is connected along with cellular data. There are many features of this app which I have not taken the time to explore fully. Instructions are not clear which is why I gave the app 4 stars and not 5 stars.

Solus

great app! works well with most networks, but needs the ability to scan full network when connected to Wi-Fi. Doesn't seem to be able to bridge separate wifi channels and LAN connection. fix that and add in a few pentesting features, and I'd give it 5 stars.
