Edit: Testing emulator again; playing favorite game PSO; Phantasy Star Online episode 1&2 plus. On my Nokia T205 3gb ram and I believe a quad core. I managed to get my favorite game pso plus to run almost perfect. I need some help to finish the setup where gameplay feels about 90 to 95 percent close to right at home. If we can achieve 100% then I'm for it. I'm pretty dang close with my own experiments. Got Aethersx2 working perfect playing Dot Hack fragments; still trying to figure private serv

We are reading! Unfortunately, the TCL30Z has a very weak processor. I'm afraid it isn't possible to improve Dolphin's performance as much as would be needed to get this game running on your phone without lag.

Java

Amazing emulator that can, assuming you have a decent phone, play numerous GameCube games at full speed. Supports loads of features too. Constantly updated. Dolphin is a very mature emulator that has been in development for many many years, and still gets updates. If you own a first generation Wii, it is very easy to dump your own gamecube games legally.

Dooty

A fantastic emulator, but for some reason a recent update has thrown my frame rate out of wack. Randomly drops from 100% speed to like 80 or 90%. Small, but I use this for Rhythm Heaven Fever 😬 Also there is a "Max Speed" setting, but it just kinda... doesn't care? I have it set at 100% and regularly see it go as high as 110%, no clue why.

To be able to play Wii games on Android in itself is an achievement, and it plays rather well all things considered. However, there can be quite a bit of tweaking required, and there are deal-breaking issues. Firstly, the cursor is often not lined up with the touch input, making you resort to the "drag mode". Secondly, the performance gets absolutely *trashed* with EFB Access from the CPU, but you can't really disable it because it's essential for the pointer to work in parts of some games.

Aaron

Best GameCube emulator on android! It took me a while to find the "save state" and speed up features. But they are there. Plus, they have a fully customizable touch screen controller! Amazing.

Luke

It's a good Wii and GameCube Emulator. It automatically adds games when you put them in the folder you assign. In combination with a backbone controller it's one of my favorite ways to play wii games. (besides the actual hardware!)

Jay

Excellent! I'm so glad this exists. I'm so happy it exists that I can look past a lot of flaws. One of my biggest issues is that I cannot utilize Samsung's "Pause USB Power Delivery" and my phone gets very hot because of this. Please fix this so the Samsung game launcher recognizes Dolphin as a game!

This is coming from a guy who hasn't opened the emulator but I can play Sonic Colors on the go now. I use to have to bring my whole Xbox one but now I can play the Og version and possibly with mods and hacks. Wow its been full year since the review and I opened it and it works great.

Hello dolphin team I've been using the app for a few months now and it's pretty good. But there are some issues with the NFS Games bcs they are still choppy and a bit slow and the app crashes when i pkay for too long And about the wii emulation, most games i tried are pretty nice, Although i couldn't figure out how to setup the motion simulation so please tell me how to set them up Thank you.

Ricky

Lost save state after update. The emulator says the save state is from an incompatible version of the app which was from 5/25/24 and the app updated 5/26/24. Any way to update a save state and not lose the progress?

Zenosphe

Solid. I have run into multiple disc-read errors, certain textures not loading, as well as games just failing to load and the app crashing. Also, I get stuck at certain points in Wii games because it requires motion control from the nunchuck, something that is just not an option for motion control movement on the controls. It gives me the option to bind controls to different inputs, but I'm unable to do anything with that. Maybe a button to toggle between Wiimote and nunchuck motion control?

Ryan

I have mixed feelings about the mobile version. PC was flawless, but I've noticed issues with this one. Games seem to run at random fps. I can do a hectic boss fight smooth as butter, than the save menu will lag like crazy. When it works well it's great, when the app doesn't, it's pretty bad. I've been trouble shooting for a smoother experience, but as of now it seems very inconsistent.

麻冰

It works but crash time to time, no auto save available so you have to play it all over again if u dont save very frequently..... Need to download other converter to play the games as it doesnt support 7z nor zip files.... Theres bug for the controller after several plays.... Its not in the correct postion its so hard to play

S727

First off, I'm gobsmacked this runs on s20 fe, use the PC version regularly. although upscaling phone version causes slow down, on a phone screen the graphics look OK anyway at lower resolutions. Superb work creating this emulator, appreciate all the hard work that's gone into it.

Joshua

For the Android Port, this is pretty nice. On my S20 FE, I often keep getting the phone telling me its crashing a lot or it has bugs, but I'm guessing that's just bc its trying to do so much, even on older phones. I've only played Colosseum & XD on it & while Colo runs mostly run, XD gets slowdown a chunk of times before it fixes itself but nothing breaks. Its workaround to still access User Data is brilliant, letting me swap saves between Android & PC easily. For what we have now, it rules.

Johnny

I find this quite interesting. I can play hulk ultimate destruction just fine. But Spiderman 2, which runs on 2x upscale on the ps2 emulator, runs like my senile grandma in a marathon on this app. Other games are decent, while some have some problems. Not bad app for gaming on the go though.

Psyduck

Wonderful! This is easy to use, once you find some suits Rom-Files. I got my ps4 controller to act as a gamecube and wii remote. I figured out how to use this by messing around with it. There was some trial and error, of course. After an >hour of work it now runs brilliantly; all the classic zelda games to animal crossing. Thank you for making this a free software without disgusting advertising. Thanks Dolphin team!

Benjamin

My phone's specs are not built for gaming, but it runs Mario Sunshine without a hitch. It's a dream come true for me. The more demanding games have a really laggy frame rate, like Twilight Princess, but I'm 95% sure it's just my phone.

Alexande

The emulator actually works pretty decent, I can play most games without issue and the setup is easy enough with a decent amount of configuration support. There are some games that have issues(please investigate FSOD issue for PSO 1&2), but the issue that is my biggest downside is the lack of ability to configure save data path/folder location. This prevents me from being able to set up cloud syncing for my save data, and seems like pretty low hanging fruit. Please look in to adding that
