App REVIEWS
Have added the Id to the fitbit app. Still nothing. It's Been searching for my phone for over 30 minutes now and still nothing. What a waste of money. I thought with it being a paid app it would actually work. I've even added the phones imei number to the app but still nothing. I want a refund!
It's a waste of money big time! I was excited to download the app but I was so disappointed! It works once in a while and most of the time it doesn't! My child always misplaces my phone and was actually late for an appointment once since I relied on this app! I think this is the first review I've ever written but I am so frustrated! If I could I would give it 0 stars as it doesn't qualify for any stars at all! I DON'T recommend this app!
Update September 17, 2020: Fitbit now includes this functionality by default on the Versa. ---- Waste of money. The watch finds the phone and sends a signal, but my Pixel 4 never responds to it. All permissions are allowed, and I've tried testing with the phone both locked and unlocked, after restarting, and at varying distances.
I wanted to love this app. I was so happy to have found it. It rarely works, which is really unfortunate. It doesn't appear to have been updated since 2019, which should have kept me from purchasing and installing. I have a fitbit versa 2 and a samsung galaxy s9+. My phone can be right next to my fitbit and it won't work, but if I try it again it does. It's unreliable at best. I would not recomend this app. I have reached out to the developer - there has been no response.
This app reeks of scam. There may have been a trial period in the past, but currently it does nothing unless you pay for it. Given the other (mostly scathing) reviews, I suspect that's because people kept finding that the app doesn't work during the trial and therefore didn't buy it, so instead they're trying to con users into paying for it up front. I'm not gambling my money on such an ill-reviewed app, and I don't recommend you do, either.
I had my difficulties but I figuared it out. When you hit it and it says phone found without ringing. Tap your watch again and it rings no problem. When you find it hit the side button on your watch and it stops ringing. Highly recommend love the app as I lose my phone often! Best $3.00 ever!
Does not work! Trial worked but once I paid, it keeps saying searching for phone even though everything is connected and it's right next to it. Developer wont contact me back about a refund (as I paid for a package, none of which seem to work.) Very disappointed as I had high Hope's for this app, and the trial worked. DO NOT RECOMMEND!
Warning!!!! Do not buy this app. It's $2.99 and does not work. When it finally found my phone it made my phone ring to the loudest volume possible without anyway to turn the ringer off. I had to restart my phone in the end. Waiting for a better app. Save your money guys!
Don't waste your money!!! It has not worked once some I paid for the app. I have the newest update of the app on my phone and on my Fitbit. It says my phone will start ringing and it never does anything. Then it loses connection. Then about 10 minutes later my phone starts ringing and you can't shut it off. So unreliable. Wish I could get my $2.99 back. Oh well, lesson learned. I'm uninstalling it now and just moving on.
It works, I guess. It worked one time right and the other times it has failed completely. I have a Pixel 3a XL and my phone never rings, even when it's in the same room. Then the signal glitches and because I tried to send the ring notification a bunch of times, my phone suddenly now rings randomly. It'll ring approximately 2-3 minutes after I asked it to ring on my Versa, making it useless. It's also really cruel to make it work fine until you pay, then completely stop. Would not recommend.
It's useless.. it can't find my phone even when it's in the same room. I never once found my phone with this app. I also paid for the app because when I tested the demo, my phone was right next to me and it worked. But after I paid for it, I realized it's pretty much useless. If anything, you become more frustrated.
Spent money, but the app is a bit hit or miss. If you sync your fitbit app with the watch and try to ring it it'll work but as soon as the phone has been somewhere else for a while and you try to locate it it's very unlikely it'll ring. I don't understand why it's so unstable on the WiFi and mobile networks. Why does it not just work via Bluetooth directly.
Downloaded this app on my OnePlus 3 with Android 8.0.0 and on my Fitbit Versa. Had to purchase through the website to test the Find my phone feature. Versa says the phone was found, but the phone doesn't do anything or the companion app crashes on my phone. This was a complete waste of $3. This is why trials need to exist.
I like the concept but this application won't satisfy most of ppl needs. why do I have to turn on bluetooth for my smartphone if the smartwatch application is still gonna send the ring signal through network. I know it finds the phone. but it does not needed to find phone if it is already registered. JUST RING IT directly! god damnit
Works and finds the phone quickly. The latest update makes the phone stop ringing by hitting the left button on the fitbit. I've tested it several times and it works like a charm. Thank you for the update!

Please test the latest version (by updating the Android app as well as the Fitbit app). Now the ring sound stops once you close the Fitbit app (clicking on the left button of the smartwatch)
The new update excited me so much but unfortunately it still doesn't work, it only worked with the first version for a short period of time. Already paid, but it stopped working short after. Plz people, still believe in ya, plz make it work, we need this!🤞 I'll definitely change it to a 5 star once it starts to work.

Please update your app versions (android & fitbit)
I want to say thank you so much, this has been by far my most requested feature and you have done what fitbit has not, I followed all direction and have gotten it to successfully find my phone! I can not find a way to shut off the ring tone though, if you could please have it either shut off when turning the screen on or have a prompt to shut it off. My current work around is just pressing the restart phone button as soon as I find it! It's not the most elegant but it does find mylostphone!

Works well for me, the only thing I dislike is that once it starts ringing there is no way that I can find to stop the ringing until the ringtone ends. Even pushing volume buttons on the phone doesn't do anything. Great for finding your phone but needs a way to stop the ringing once it starts...worried I'll accidentally hit it at some point and have my phone start ringing loudly at an inappropriate time.

I wanted this app to work so bad. It set up fine, it said it found my phone and said it should start ringing, but it never rang. I gave 2 stars over none as the developer replied quickly and we tried to figure out the issue. I contacted my phone carrier and also Fitbit, but to no avail. I own the Versa and my phone is a Samsung 6S. I truly hope this app can get fixed so it can work with my phone.
The App will not Ring the default Ringtone.. instead , it uses the Notifications sound.. which is usually set for at a lower volume, and it send One notification only.. in contrast to the Call Ringtone with a continuous loud ringing. as a result it's hard to locate the missing phone and limit the usefulness of the app. I suggest a fix to this problem in your future updates as there is promising functionality for this App. update: Ringtone with Today update.. Upgraded my review to 5 stars..
