Buggiest app ever! The app's icons are all cut off so i cant navigate or read anything.My data goes missing without and trail or reason, and when I try write a review or complain it won't let me submit unless the review is good

Some unethical practice that's always persistent from vodacom; They have these intrusive ads appearing at the bottom of the UI, asking us to subscribe to a R3.00 p/d thing. You can easily press subscribe by accident, and there is no way to turn this off. This doesn't come from this app. It's a cell service pop-up spam. When I went to unsub, they asked a bunch of details that's very intrusive as well. I truly hate how they treat us as a monopoly. Gone are the days of using your phone in peace.

For almost two days now, I have not been able to use my app properly. I have almost none of my original layout and options available to me. No matter where I try navigate to or try get assistance, It tells me that there is maintenance happening and I should try later. Please, will someone check this fault as it's becoming increasingly more frustrating.

Works half the time. Not great; could be worse. Edit: Just tried to buy some minutes and, after the app processed for 13 minutes, ended up accidentally buying Vodacom to Vodacom only time because the options were egregiously unclear. With nonexistent customer care (talking out of 1st hand experience) I'm not even going to try to correct it. Admittedly their scheme works!

Terrible app, it keeps on crashing, the words aren't fully visible, sometimes it's hard to make payments, buying data or voice bundles is sometimes a hassle, I can't even add my bank card details, it keeps on failing.

Latest update has destroyer usability. My fingerprint doesn't work enough more. Any interface that requires me to confirm my fingerprint doesn't work, including the interface to disable the fingerprint. So I actually can't manage anything from my app. All of the text is know wrapped, so words are cut off half way, making it incredibly stressful navigating. This is a horrible experience. What a useless app! Every single time I want to buy airtime I keep getting the same "Oops! We are having technical issues..." message. It's been this way ever since I got the app a year ago. If you actually submit/report the issue they respond via email telling me to update my app. IT IS UPDATED! And then they give tones of additional email addresses to contact. How idiotic. Just shows they aren't actually looking at the problem and never will.

This is probably one of the most unreliable apps I have ever used. When you need it the most to buy airtime or data, it throws errors or just shows an infinite loading screen, this happens on a daily basis and last a few hours before you can do anything. Developers, really!!? These issues have been happening the past few years. I would rather *111# when that works! FIX YOUR APP!!!

It's a decent app, does what you need it to... When it's actually working, that is. Too often I find that it just won't load, and this can be extremely frustrating and inconvenient. When I wanted to upgrade my contact, the service was down so I had to go in-store and everytime I've tried to use the widget, it has worked nicely for a day or two and then crashed. If possible, a dark theme for the widget would be great, as well as the option to choose what information the widget displays. Thanks.

Stinks....really and truly, reeks. I have been a Vodacom client forever (not sure why) and this app along with the reception of signal in area is beyond awful. Countless times, when I'm using the app, I am told they are currently performing maintenance or some such thing. If it ever does start the app, 99% of the time it will either crash, be under maintenance or simply hang! The once in a blue moon that the App functions, it is great....but that is so seldom. Very disappointing.

Generally very good app to manage my various numbers. Some good deals on data and airtime through the app (sometimes). Occasionally there are some bugs, but they seem to sort themselves out. I would suggest making this a zero data rated app like some others, it would just be a nice thing to do. As for the bonus competition(s) aspect through the app, I have one won a few small prizes and that's great! I would though suggest dropping the prize of Shaw Academy courses, what a con...

Not sure if the app has a bug but it's been weeks now that the Bill so far option is constantly unavailable. When it's clicked on, it responds with an error. I've sent an email in response to the error but the issue hasn't been fixed. When I am making payment via the app, it takes forever to load my card, yet I use this method of payment all the time. It takes a few attempts of opening and closing the app just to get it to load. Please assist!

Can I give 0 stars? This app is extremely slow, sometimes doesn't even load at all. Then, if you dare purchase anything, you will receive at least 2 more advertisements, and not the kind that you can just ignore. No it gives a prompt with a yes/no option. If you accidentally click yes (eg if you're in a hurry or think it's still part of your previous transaction), you can say bye to some more money. It is made to trick people and the constant ads are abusive. How a major company can get away...

Convenient for looking at your data and other services. My problem which is clearly just never going to be resolved, I cannot buy data with my card, it will have a loading screen after putting in my details and then pull up an error page for vodacom having technical difficulties for that service and will resolve the issue shortly. This has been going for a while now and it's beyond annoying, I'm using wifi so the internet issue is out of the books. Don't put that service if you wont fix it.

It's buggy, which doesn't inspire confidence when you purchase airtime or data. For instance, when I make a purchase through the app, it hangs on the screen that says to not close the window while the transaction is taking place. There's nothing wrong with my Internet connection. All other things work fine; other apps, tools on my laptop. It's just My Vodacom that glitches like this.

This app doesn't always work. I can't load data or airtime through the app, although I used to have no problem with this. I still get offers in the app even though I can't buy anything. I have to go to a Vodacom shop to recharge. I used to think it was great, but no longer, it's just annoying. Multiple visits to Vodacom shops and multiple queries have been an utter waste of time. I've canceled my Vodacom data contract and voice contract as a direct result of this app's problems.

Always connection issues, Half the time you won't even make it into the app. When you do, your Airtime balance and date balance will be "unavailable" most of the time. Airtime and Data cannot be transferred from other Vodacom numbers you may own. I have been asked on numerous occasions in the app to rate it, I get redirected to another page and that fails aswell. 🤣🤣🤣 Even the place where you're supposed to rate the app doesn't work hahahaha. All in all a pretty useless experience. On top of that Vodacom really screws you over when it comes to data costs... Opt for another service provider instead like cell C or MTN. It's shocking what the price difference is when buying data for myself or my 4G router. For the same price I can have multiple gigs more when purchasing for the router.
